The Mews House is a homely, light & spacious character cottage in the village of Llanishen, Monmouthshire, between the Wye & Usk Valleys, both AONB areas. There is a variety of attractions including walks from the property and in the local area, castles, Tintern Abbey, the River Wye, Roman Caerleon, horse riding, cycling & golf. There is a good food pub & shop only 3 minutes walk away (temporarily closed 16/8/25) . The two super king beds can both be set out as twin beds to suit your needs.

A spacious one bedroom private annex room, en-suite shower and beautiful private patio area. Enjoy a relaxing drink by the pond & firepit after a day out. Walking distance to Monmouth town centre, with all local amenities, and the Royal Oak pub a 5 minute walk away. Once a woodman’s cottage, with a cosy, spacious interior, fully equipped kitchen, log burner, very comfortable beds, all you need for a relaxing break. Not suitable for young children 1-12, the large garden has a pond and steep terracing.

The garden path leads down to a secluded orchard which is a haven for birds, deer & wildlife. The cottage is located in a quiet country lane, with walks to our local pubThe Ostrich Inn and town. We are close to all ammenities, cycle trails, river activities and the best of what the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley has to offer.

One mile from Raglan this little house is seriously comfortable. A great base for anyone visiting the Welsh borders. It has its own garden but there is plenty more garden, a pond and an orchard to explore and relax in. The wildlife and night skies here are spectacular! Well equipped with a huge sofa, WiFi, TV and Netflix. The bathroom has a bath as well as a shower. If there is anything you need just ask the owner who lives next door.
