Chicken house dome

GeorgiaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Stayed for 2 nights for a wedding in the local area. Beautiful, peaceful, unique little chicken house dome, clearly built with love by Doug. Spotlessly clean, beautiful views and everything you could need is provided for a weekend in the Welsh countryside. Host was super friendly and responsive, and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely touches leaving us fresh milk, Welsh cakes etc! Would definitely stay again if we were in Brecon - thanks so much Doug and Judy 😊

Enchanting Bach Cottage with Views of the Brecon Beacons

MariaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Gorgeous cottage in beautifully peaceful surroundings and walking routes from the doorstep. We loved staying here despite rain and the beautifully kept private gardens that guests can access on Thursdays are just lovely to walk around with birdsong all around you. We enjoyed the guest gardens with views to the distant Brecon hills when we had a quiet moment. Very easy to find and Alastair provides excellent additional information on restaurants, walks and local amenities. You are only 30 mins from Hay on Wye and other lovely places.

Cosy woodland glamping pod - Snipe

AaronRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved staying in the Snipe cabin. The woodland is beautiful and the firepit was perfect for a bbq. The bathrooms were clean, spacious and private, and the kitchen was full of any utensils you could need to cook, with tea coffee and biscuits. Also plenty of board and card games to keep us entertained. Would stay here again no doubt.

Stylish Hideaway in the Black Mountains

DamienRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fantastic time in the beautiful Black mountains. Lots of walks from the door and the location is very tranquil. There is an epic vinyl collection for music fans to explore and the accommodation was really comfortable. The sauna is excellent for rejuvenating tired muscles and you can lounge on sun beds to cool down for a real spa-like experience. The hosts were very welcoming and made our stay memorable, with lots of local recommendations. Hugo cooked us dinner one evening to eat in the garden surrounded by the mountains and it was delicious! Our daughter also got to feed the farm animals and play in the play area with rope swings, a trampoline and a zip wire. The town of Crickhowell is a short drive away and has lots of pubs, a couple of good coffee shops and two great butchers. There are several great restaurants in the area to explore and we will definitely be back as we ran out of time and this is a truly magical escape.
