Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Trapper Creek

We had a fantastic time at the bush pilot house! The house was sparkly clean and cozy! The hot tub was also clean and the jets were powerful! Great after a long ski! We loved walking to town via a shortcut in the woods which took us by the river which had the most amazing view of Denali! We already are planning our next visit to Talkeetna and will definitely choose Drew’a place if it is available!

Fantastic view of the frozen lake from the deck! We thought winter there would be boring and covered with white snow, but we were wrong. The iced lake reflected beautiful blue shade when sunrise and sunset. It is Amazing! We enjoyed our entire time staying at the property. From the windows of open spaces living room and dining room and from the deck, we can see open beautiful lake view. The house is big, beautiful, open spaces and by the beautiful lake. Feeling of welcome when we first stepped in. The house is very clean. We had everything that we needed there. Owner provided quality materials to use. Host Rebekah is very nice. She responded to our questions within a short period of time. A plus that I would giving for this house is the water came from the refrigerator tasted better than most other the water bottled. We appreciated water source in AK vs. CA I wish I could stay there longer. Definitely will come back.

Absolutely beautiful home, very well appointed, comfortable beds, hot tub was great and hosts were awesome! A++++ highly recommend, would 100% rent again (and my daughter begged to move in). Thank you for sharing your amazing home!

Home was clean and well stocked. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Hot tub and common area was well maintained and a wonderful bonus. My brother’s family booked one of the other homes that shared the courtyard and it was perfect to give both families their own space but easy for us to visit each other and hang out in the common space. Would highly recommend and would stay here again!

Great place. Clean, quite. The common space was also clean and well maintained. We traveled with another family and it waa great we could each have our own space but be close and gather under the gazebo or hot tub. Super responsive hosts. Walkable to downtown. Will definitely try to stay here again next time we come to Talkeetna.

We enjoyed our stay. This was the perfect place for two nights for my Mom, brother, and me. Good directions, ample parking, comfortable beds, good pots/utensils for cooking simple meals, adjustable heat, helpful book with activity and food suggestions, and sufficient hot water for two back to back showers.

Sweet, rustic cabin with homey touches! It’s cozy and among the trees. It’s part of a cluster of cabins that would be great for a large group or family stay given a shared patio, grill, etc. There are four larger cabins that look like newer builds, and cabin 1 is spotless and has everything a small family or pair of friends traveling need. It’s walking distance to the brush airport to Denali, and many will find downtown Talkeetna within walking distance too — maybe a mile. Super responsive hosts. All in all, a great spot for an outdoorsy casual weekend. Thanks!

Wow! What an amazing place! The home was so cozy and in a great location. We were able to bbq on the deck and sit and enjoy the view of the lake. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

Jessica was such an amazing host!! So friendly and responsive. The house was fully stocked with everything we could have needed and the property was incredible! There was so much to do, we honestly were kind of excited when one of our excursions in town got cancelled because we were excited to spend more time on the lake, lol! We would highly highly recommend booking, it was the perfect getaway. We are already trying to plan when we can come back!

Larry’s cabin, perfectly nestled in the woods, provided our family of four many happy memories. When we arrived, we opened the door and immediately felt welcome. The windows were sparkling, the floors were spotless, and we had everything we could want and more. We lit the wood burning stove that first night, gathered round the piano, and enjoyed our peaceful surroundings. After the day in Talkeetna, we went for a long walk on our second night, taking full advantage of the midnight sun. Our girls - ages 8 and 10 - loved the swings, the winding stairs to the second floor, and Larry’s dog. Larry and Danielle were kind, responsive, and generous. We would have loved to stay longer!

Loved this cute cabin, perfect location for xc skiing and shopping in the town. Loved the sauna as well!! Marne was so helpful!

Great place to stay in Talkeetna! Close to town but away from crowds. Would definitely recommend.

the place was in a nice peaceful area. the inside was great nice clean great space. Tasha was great always responsive. We ended up having to stay an extra day because my sister's van broke down in talkeetna. Tasha and Joshua went out of their way to make sure we got back safe and checked up to make sure we were good. I appreciate that it makes a difference. if I ever came back to talkeetna for a weekend I'd stay here again. thank you tasha and Joshua. this was a great experience recommend this place to everyone

This was a very clean, well-appointed cabin off the beaten path. It was apparent that the hosts put a lot of thought into providing everything that a renter might need. Their communication and helpfulness was exceptional. Cabin is small but very cute and fresh, with great views all around. There was a few miles of gravel road coming in and the hosts father-in-law lives in the main cabin about 20 yards in front of the rental.

Anna’s place was just what my family and I needed. Surrounded by woods, overlooking the lake was a perfect way to end our Alaska trip.

Enjoyed our stay in Talkeetna. This is in an excellent location to visit Talkeetna and budget friendly. Very comfortable bed and couch. TV has dvd player only. Very wooded and private. Don't forget to get a photo in front of the outhouse (very cute).

Snowmachines + toasty fire right on the Iditarod route + the best homemade moose chili we’ll ever have = the ultimate in Southern hospitality…but in Alaska!

Tasha's place was exactly what our family was looking for and a perfect stay. Cabin was beautiful and exactly as pictured. Loved the lit candle on entry and ample coffee :) The property was very peaceful, including a private firepit and seating area, lovely landscaping, backyard chickens, and dog sled team (far enough away that any puppy noise was not intrusive!!). The area truly was a lovely Alaskan getaway and experience but with modern and cozy amenities. Will definately be back!!

Super cute and cozy cabin! Exactly as described. The area is peaceful and the walk on the trail to the lake was beautiful. We will definitely be back!
