We had a great time at Xavier and Stéphane's. Stéphane welcomed us for the key exchange, to show us the accommodation and give us instructions. He gave us good advice about places to visit as well as local shops. Very welcoming host and ideal place for a quiet and relaxing stay.

We absolutely loved staying at this cute, clean place. It was really nicely decorated, free of clutter, everything was new and comfy, but the best thing was the view, deck, and hot tub. Oh, and the frogs at night. Just the sweetest piece of country land to be found. The beds were amazing, linens were great. Honestly, nothing to say other than I will and would book this place again. If you're looking for a beautiful night sky, hot tub under the stars, and a great home to call home, this is it. Great host, too :)

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

We were warmly welcomed by Brigitte and Jean Marie. Our 4-year-old daughter loved the place, the animals and the activities offered. The stay in the cabin is pleasant because of the calm that reigns there. Simplicity and originality of the place

An interesting layout for a beautiful cottage, it takes a bit to get used to it, amazing views, at the edge of the forest and the village. We had a wonderful time with our friends, lots of activities to do in the area and many places to visit. Thank you for you hospitality, Lumi & Liviu

Can’t rate this place highly enough! It is the most wonderful place; blissful and beautiful views all so calm and perfect setting. The house is immaculate very clean with lovely interiors, comfortable beds and lovely bedding. If you are looking for a fantastic place that you don’t want to leave this could be it; just perfect. Jean-Xavier is lovely and extremely helpful.

Very peaceful & relaxing stay, lovely walk into Monpazier with nice restaurants. Thank you to Gillian for inviting me to go horse riding with her, it was absolutely wonderful, we will definitely be returning.

It is rare to discover, in our time, a resort that combines with so much elegance the serenity of the countryside, the warmth of human hospitality and the proximity to a big city like Toulouse. From the moment we arrived, we were touched by the truly warm and caring welcome of the hosts. Their kindness, availability and kindness went a long way in making our stay an enchanted break. The setting is simply idyllic. The property, located in the countryside, enjoys an environment, absolute tranquility, conducive to relaxation and reconnection with nature. One of the great pleasures of this stay was undoubtedly breakfast, which alone deserves a mention of excellence. Every morning, the homemade bread, prepared with care and passion, was an enchantment for the taste buds. The presence of the two dogs brings an extra touch of life and warmth. This address is a real gem.

Very lovely place with a beautiful view

Wow! What a stunning property! The pictures don’t do it justice, we stayed as a group of 7 and it was beyond perfect. Every bedroom had its own bathroom so it was very private on an evening and then downstairs was huge and open plan so was wonderful to share meals and socialise together. The pool and outdoor area was extremely private too. We had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return.

Our stay was perfect from the moment we received such a warm welcome from Sophie and Daniel. The house is beautiful and very luxurious with everything you could think of needing and more all of the highest quality. We were travelling with our 6 month old granddaughter and everything she needed was there, even some toys placed in the cot - adorable and so kind! Daniel brought us a delicious breakfast of pastries and fruit juice on our first morning which was so thoughtful. The garden is stunning with the pool being an absolute highlight and very welcome in 38 degree heat. The location is peaceful yet close to amenities and the town of Montabaun is only a short drive away. We made use of the bikes to explore the roads around the house. Outdoor living was very easy with a variety of places to sit, cook, eat and relax. We really can’t fault our stay and only wished we had booked 2 weeks instead of 1! Steve was very helpful always available to answer any questions. The place is a paradise and great walkways, views etc. His caretaker, Pascal, helped us check-in and offered to help…. Even set us up for a day of kayaking not mention and really great guy.

An amazing chance to stay in a real chateau. Really spacious apartment in one of the towers. Lots of places to explore and very quiet and peaceful. Alice and her team were very helpful and ensured that we had a wonderful few days.

We had a great week at Olivier's cottage - the place is beautiful, peaceful and very well-equipped. It matches the photos and description perfectly. Olivier was very responsive and his information was very clear and helpful. I teleworked and the wifi connection is impeccable. Lots of places to visit nearby such as Puy l'Evêque, Cahors, Pech Merle Cave, Rocamadour, the Gouffre de Padirac and many more! Walks in the vineyards are very pleasant as is the Jacuzzi at the end of the day with a view of the forest :) We can only recommend this cottage and thank Olivier and Fabienne for the perfect provision of their accommodation. Great little property with views to die for. The stairs wouldn’t be suitable for small children or elderly but fine for me. Access and parking outside the house is difficult but plenty of free parking just a stones throw away. Martine was super helpful and friendly and I would hesitate to return.

We had the most incredible time, myself and my new husband brought our parents here for a lovely chilled week after the wedding and the place was more than we could have wished for! We went on an incredible wine tour, loads of gorgeous meals in the house and some lovely meals in the nearby village as recommended by the hosts! Both Geert and Marga were really friendly, helpful and approachable and their place is exactly what we were looking for!

Gave full stars overall as the house is comfortable, clean and authentically French is a beautiful village and surroundings. Drawbacks for us were probably due to lack of research on our part and making assumptions. Personally I would not have chosen a property without internet for a week’s stay. I failed to spot this lack of inclusion at the end of all the details. My phone signal was not the best here either. There are quite a few stairs to a couple of bedrooms if mobility is an issue. Thanks to Fiona for heating the property well as the March nights were quite chilly !
