This house offers an extraordinary view of the sea and the Northern Lights on the beautiful island of Sommarøy. The decor is impeccable, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere, especially with the warm fireplace that adds to the charm. The house is fully equipped with everything needed for a wonderful stay, and it is conveniently located close to Tromsø and the ferry to Senja. Runne was an excellent host, always attentive and even gave us Northern Lights alerts, which made our experience even more special. A perfect choice for anyone visiting Sommarøy!

Very nice and clean accommodation. The scenery is very peaceful. The host is friendly and really very responsive to messages. We didn't miss anything. If we come back to this area we would rent this accommodation again without hesitation!

This house had everything that I needed during my stay in Fjordgard. At the top of the list is the location - just down the street from the Segla/Hestin trailhead and a nice view of the Fjord. The house had WAY more than I needed, from the multiple bedrooms to the large living room with tons of seating, to the well equipped kitchen to a variety of soaps and shampoos in the bathroom. I would give this home a 10 out of 5....very highly recommended if you are in Fjordgard or Senja! :)

We had a wonderful stay and felt at home. The location is unique with the view of the fjord. The house has everything you need to live and is well-equipped. It was spotlessly clean and pleasant. We can give our full recommendation and would love to come back for another visit to Senja.

We spent 2 weeks at Kristian's house and it was just perfect for us! Fantastic location overlooking the sea and mountains and incredibly quiet. The house was spotlessly clean upon arrival and it was easy for us to feel immediately comfortable. The two rocking chairs quickly became our favorite place in the house. Vangsvik was an ideal base for us to explore the surrounding area, the west and north of Senja. The small grocery store in town is open 24/7, which is great! We simply made larger purchases during our day trips and Finnsnes is also very easy to reach in 20 minutes by car. Communication with Kristian was excellent. On our day of departure, we even got the opportunity to use the house for a few more hours after the actual check-out time, so we could pack in peace. Thanks again for that, Kristian!

The building is more than 100 years old, but everything works perfectly. As it was summer, I spent most of the days outside, but I loved the bed upstairs! I would definitely come again. Thank you for all the helpful tips!

Alex is the perfect host! The house is fantastic and the surroundings are beautiful! We felt immediately comfortable and were able to leave everyday life behind us wonderfully. It's all so straightforward and relaxed! Communication was great and there was nothing missing. Since Alex also offers excursions, he is the perfect choice for an unforgettable vacation on the Vesterålen. With his kindness, courteous and open manner, humor and stories about the country and people, he made the stay even more refined. Thank you for everything! Stay as you are! Our staying in this apartment has been really nice and cozy. The apartment is perfect for 4 persons and it's perfect to visit Senja island. Note that the window in the bathroom can't be opened.

Lovely stay in this cabin in Sifjord. It's next to a grocery store that can save you if you are missing something. The cabin was looking exactly like in the pictures. We were 5 people and had all a good experience during our stay. The only downside was that the barbecue mentioned on the page was missing

Very charming accommodation in a beautiful old house in a cozy street. Chickens in the garden that didn't make a sound. Nice view over the sea. Nice walking distance to the city center through cozy residential areas. Torbjørn welcomed us when we arrived, nice guy. Good space in🙂 the apartment with the kitchen equipment we needed.

We arrived at Hamn in the middle of a fairly snowy day at the end of March. Lena was there to great us. She made us a drink & gave us some information & was generally lovely to speak with. The accommodation is absolutely gorgeous- it’s modern & simple & in a perfect spot. We had an absolutely great time & were not ready to leave at all. We are definitely going to come back, as soon as we get a chance. Thank you Lena for providing such a perfect destination.

In the selective section, I selected the "Place looks like in the photos" option, but it's not true, the place is better than the photos! It may be the most beautiful place we've been to so far!! Wonderful views from the living room window, both bedrooms, patio, garden and jacuzzy 🥹😍 We saw the light every night of our 3 pumpkin stay from the beach, which is next to the house. And when the sky was on the other side of the sky (not visible from our beach), it was enough to go to another beach for shortcuts, to the other end of the island (maybe 100 meters) A charming barbecue gazebo that is available to guests complete the image of this place as a small paradise on a land perfect for a getaway. The owners are super nice and very helpful! We can't get into this place and its hosts! 🤗 WE RECOMMEND WHOLEHEARTEDLY!!!

We had four wonderful days in this house. Beautiful view of the beach from the whole house, sunsets, right on the beach, everything super stylishly furnished. Very nice communication. Generous and nice hosts. Highly recommended.

We were three families and spent a wonderful New Year's week in the house. The year couldn't have started better. When we arrived, the house was warm, cozy and decorated for Christmas. We immediately felt comfortable. The one bedroom and sauna were smaller than expected but ultimately completely adequate. The kitchen is very well equipped and we cooked wonderfully and fit 12 people (just about) at the big table. A highlight was the Yakuzi in the upper bathroom - after walks at -20 degrees we were warmed up again. The view over the fjord and the huge jetty were wonderful. Since the houses next door were not visited, it was also very quiet. One evening, a very nice neighbor let us know that the Northern Lights were there. Indescribably beautiful! Nearby (25 min) is a great polar bear park. The ski slope in Narvik (60 min) is also great! Communication with Torkjell was very nice and helpful at all times. Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful place. Much nicer than in the pictures! Large house with plenty of space and large bedrooms. Fantastic view of the sea and nice jetty to swim and fish from. We will come back here!

Beautiful spacious and modern house with splendid views of the fjord. 6 seater hot tub very easy to use + gym. 2 shower rooms with toilet. Very peaceful environment. Ingvill is very kind and responsive. Thank you for this great stay!
