This was the most I paid for a stay during my travel through Faroe Islands but we would not have missed it. The beauty of the location in general but especially at 4am with nobody else around is something we will remember for a long time. To stay in such an authentic turf house with so many nice touches to make it comfortable was a lovely opportunity. Every detail was covered…the mini bar was a nice surprise!! Thank you

Lovely cabin and really nice views of the fjord. Kitchen was well-equipped. Toilet/shower a bit older than the rest of the cabin but worked well.

This little cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay in the Faroe Islands. We sat and had coffee in the sunroom every morning and watched the waves. The hot tub was amazing, even with the drizzly weather. Leynar was a a calm and peaceful home base for our trip and it was easy to hop back on the highway and go wherever we needed. Everything in the house was as described and the kitchen was very useful! The beds were pretty comfy too!

The view from Steinbjorn’s home is quite possibly the most beautiful vista I have experienced anywhere in the World. They say location is everything, and I don’t believe my experience of the Faroe Islands would have been as good had I stayed anywhere else. The solitude of Elduvík was perfect for my solo mountain biking trip, the pink sunsets at Midnight incredible, and the hot tub after a few hours on the bike the icing on the cake. The lounge and dining room are spacious and well appointed, the kitchen clean and well provisioned. I had the pleasure of meeting Steinbjorn when I arrived at the house. He is a friendly chap and is clearly proud of his home. Communication with him both prior to, and during my trip was superb, lots of recommendations for places to visit, and information regarding the village. Steinbjorn was also very attentive to any queries I had whilst at the house. I could not have hoped for a better experience.

Absolutely gorgeous surroundings. The place was cozy, comfortable and had all the amenities we would have wanted.

We greatly enjoyed our week's stay in this delightful farm cottage. After each full day's outings, it was wonderful to return to this warm, cozy cottage with its lovely views over the hills. It is described accurately on the website, is very clean and comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. Its location makes it easy to go anywhere on the islands. Tórður was a most helpful host. We would happily stay here again on a future visit.

Fabulous Scandinavian style apartment, big and with everything you need. Recomended!

Nice place to stay near the airport , especially if you want to hike the famous waterfall trail and nearby slave lake. We stayed here our first night, and hit all the surrounding area hikes with this Airbnb as our base. Close to airport, easy to find, clean, easy to park.

We had such a wonderful stay! The location is wonderful for exploring Vagar and right near the local football pitch and beach. The house is very comfortable and makes you feel at home.

We had a wonderful stay in Hanna’s house. Everything was like on the pictures, there is all you need for a good stay. The house was very clean and you can cook meals easily with all the accessories. We liked the fact that even if your staying in a house together with the hosts, you have your full privacy. The city center is close to walk but make sure to check the free city bus. I would recommend this place if you want to visit the beautiful Faroe Islands.

We loved staying at Benita’s place. Benita left us snacks and drinks upon arrival and was super responsive to any questions. The ocean view out the window was terrific, and the place was great to come back to after long days of walking, hiking, driving around the islands, etc. And it’s just a quick 5 minute drive into Torshavn, or a 20 minute walk. Everything was just as advertised!

A great little base to explore Tórshavn. The apt is just off one of the main streets by the harbor and you can walk to all the restaurants and tour pick-up points. Place was cozy and cute for a couple or small family.

Simon and his wife were pleasant and accommodating hosts. This rental is suitable for both individuals and families. I recommend a stay at this residence without hesitation.

Due to the positive reviews, our expectations were very high, but nevertheless, I was somehow overwhelmed when I came to this cozy cottage. In every corner there are loving details to discover and I enjoyed drinking my coffee on the bench in front of the cottage on fog-free days. The location is also perfect. Most islands are relatively quick to reach and if you arrive in Tórshavn in the middle of the night like we did, it is really very convenient if the path is not too far.

Very clean place with a fully equipped kitchen. Loved the dining area where we can look out to the fjords. a convenient place to get to all islands, Torshavn and airport.

The boathouse in Strendur was the perfect place to enjoy our mornings overlooking the water. It was a great launching point for exploring the islands to the north and south and easy to get to the airport. Faroe Islands has an incredible road and tunnel system which connects most islands and it's very easy to get around. After a long day of exploring and hiking, we loved coming back to the boathouse to relax, plan our next day, and watch the world go by on the water in front of us. Niclas was a wonderful host and very available whenever we had questions. The boathouse has no address, but the adjacent church and the photos made it easy to find. I highly recommend this lovely Nordic-designed space for lodging in the Faroe Islands!
