Summer cabin at Miekojärvi

Are you looking for a traditional Finnish summer cottage and its authentic atmosphere? Do you want to enjoy pure nature next to great hiking trails and swimming and fishing waters? This cottage is located in a quiet location on the shore of Miekojärvi, approx. 80 km from Rovaniemi. The cottage is only for summer use and is equipped with practical and functional equipment, although it does not offer luxury. The cottage yard includes a cottage, a smoke sauna and a composting outdoor toilet.

NOTE! LINENS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENT, can be ordered separately 12€/set The cottage is electrified and loft. It has 4 beds: two sofa beds downstairs, plus a loft bed. The beach has a sauna and a terrace in front of it with a table and chairs. There's also a gazebo with a fireplace and a wood stove. There is a toilet outside. Boat available, charcoal grill can be found on the terrace. Drinking water is picked up from a source of nature with the best and clear water in the world.

Comfortable house in Pello

Comfortable and well-equipped totally renovated old traditional Finnish house in the bank of Tornionjoki. About 10 km north from Pello. Access to river, very big yard to play. Wood heated sauna. Room up to 8 people, very comfortable for 4-6 people in summer and for 3-4 people in Winter (2nd floor not heated during winter season) Dogs are allowed only in part of apartment. Big part of yard fenced for dogs to play. Small dogs may escape under fence keep loose only with your own risk.

The cabin has a rowing boat, coal grill and an outdoor eco toilet to crown the traditional wilderness cabin feeling. The double bed and outdoor jaquzzi bring the luxorious feel to the place, and the private shore with a pier where you can sit and enjoy the calm nature around you.

Miekojärvi Resort is located at the northern end of scenic Lake Mieko in Sirkkakoski, Pello. Mieko is one of Finland’s finest catch-rich lakes and as such a very attractive destination for visitors keen on fishing. We can organise a guide to accompany you on request. For snowmobile tour groups, Miekojärvi Resort provides a fantastic base of operations. Take off on a fresh adventure each morning and return to rest and relax in a cosy sauna at the end of the day.

A modern cottage in privacy.

A detached cottage on its own with a getaway between two large lakes. Over half a kilometer of its own shoreline. The village has a reindeer farm, as well as a husky and snowmobile safaris organizer . Both family entrepreneurs where the service plays. And it's not far from an official disc golf that meets the official winter requirements ( about 14 km from Airijärventie 108, now an 18-hole track in the woods and cliffs).

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful lodge. The property has been completely renovated, child-friendly - cot, necessities for cooking and washing, plenty of tableware, washing machine and dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, extra mattress, sauna on Saturdays. 20 (small)/50 km to local grocery store, have to be prepared for cooking at the apartment. Own or rental car needed, bus schedule highly limited.

Cozy and fully renovated cottage on the shore of Lake Miekojärvi. You can berry, sponges, fish, ski, snowshoe, or just enjoy the quiet and tranquility of the forest and the Northern Lights by firing on the lean-to. A separate beach sauna with hot tubs is at your disposal. Great skiing, sledding, and ice fishing opportunities in winter. In the summer, a rowing boat is available and you can swim directly from the pier.
