You'll find a hanging rail & chest of drawers for storage. The cabin is in a separate area of the property with its own private garden/patio. Parking is available.

The Old Fish House

Everybody loves The Old Fish House! With stunning river views it is a beautiful and peaceful cottage, yet a three minute walk from the nearest shop and the harbour. It is a great and relaxing base to enjoy the culture, coastal scenery or walking around the area. The house is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families and we love well behaved dogs. There is a staircase between kitchen/diner and lounge so the cottage may not be ideal for children under 4 years old.

Set on St. Mary's Isle peninsula - which juts out into KirkcudbrightBay - each bed has views of the River Dee in this modernised historic cottage. You can watch the fishing boats head out to sea for their catch, whilst deer and pheasents roam the landscape on your doorstep.

The Fish House

The Fish House is a characterful cottage, finished to a high standard with views to the River Dee. The detached cottage has been renovated and upgraded using stone from the ruins of the original Fish House that dated back to 1825 to provide a spacious and contemporary holiday cottage while retaining the character of the original building. The upgrade makes the most of the location and the Sitting room and kitchen are light and bright.
