Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, blessed with forests, lakes and snow in northern Nagano Prefecture. Nearby, there are many natural sightseeing spots such as Kurohime Highlands, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi. A building from the development era, it has been stylishly renovated using plenty of natural materials such as pure cedar, hinoki cypress, and plaster. We also focused on the interior and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". In the winter, when it is completely covered in snow, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the snow-covered landscape. You can follow animal tracks on snowshoes and go on a snowy picnic, or enjoy a bonfire and BBQ in the riverside house in winter. There are also 7 ski resorts within a 30-minute drive. Close to Tobu Shim-Imaichi Station, you might even hear the steam whistle of the Taiki if you're lucky in the evening. 8-tatami Japanese-style room (bamboo room), 6-tatami Japanese-style room (temple style), 8-tatami living room (retro style) IH kitchen, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, fridge, washing machine, gas dryer, etc. are fully equipped, so you can use this place as a base for sightseeing in Nikko, Kinugawa, Ashio, and Kuriyama. There is also a parking lot, making it ideal for touring with fellow bikers. Breakfast is a free loaf of freshly baked bread (home bakery). Mountain Biking, Calligraphy, Games, BBQ (The usage fee for charcoal is 2,000 yen per use. Dishes are available for rent, so please prepare your ingredients at a nearby supermarket.) This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

It is a pure Japanese-style bungalow single unit constructed 30 years ago. Feel free to use the pans, microwave, oven, and utensils in the spacious private kitchen, enjoy your meals and unwind. Rest peacefully in the tatami mat room on Japanese futons lined with pillows. Parking is also available for up to 2 station wagon sized vehicles. In addition, due to the enforcement of the new Private Lodging Law (Residential Accommodation Business Law) on June 15, 2018, government agencies are required to fill in the list of guests, and foreigners who do not have an address in Japan are required to present their passports.Therefore, we ask for permission to fill in the guest list and present your passport and copy at the time of staying.We appreciate your understanding.

It is a Japanese house surrounded by lush greenery. The space available for rent is 120 ㎡ (about 70 tatami mats). 7 minutes by car from the Kan-etsu Expressway, Hanazono Interchange. Free parking for 4 cars is available. It is a 9-minute walk from Hachioji Station on the Tobu Tojo Line. Since it is a private rental, we can only allow 1-2 people to stay for up to 7 consecutive nights. Long-term stays are possible for 3 or more people. Please use it for sightseeing such as Nagatoro, Chichibu, and Ikuno, or for work. You will have the entire first floor of a rural house to yourselves.

Ohinata in Sakuho-town is a small village in a valley. I renovated a 80 years small wooden house by myself taking a long time. The building used to be used for raising silkworms by farms. It was our culture and industry to get silks in this area. You can have a calm time for having Coffee and beer, reading books, listening music... The village is surrounded by nature for hiking to mountains and rivers. Some local families live in around the house, so please stay like the village people.
