Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Tokyo Bay

This is my second time in Tokyo and I'm glad that I booked this place which is only 2-minute walk to Mejiro station. I like it a lot coz Mejiro station is very easy to navigate going to Shibuya, Shinjuku, etc. My family of 4 had a comfortable stay from May 17-24,2025. The house was organized, clean, and with the amenities listed. The unit is on the 6F of the building. Outside, there is a nearby 711, Family Mart, bakeries, cafe, and drugstore. The neighborbood is quiet even if it is along the road. There was even a minor road construction happened during our stay and surprisingly, it did not even disrupt our sleep! The host is very responsive and gracious to grant our requests. Thank you so much and I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends :)

Close to the station, and they explained in detail how to check in and enter the room in advance, making it very easy to understand. The room was very stylish, clean and a pleasant place to stay. Six of us stayed, but we had a pleasant time because we had little luggage. The Wi-Fi password was different from the one listed, so it took some time to check it, and it may have been just this time, but at 16: 00 check-in, the cleaning was still going on, and it was awkward to meet the cleaning staff.

we had a great stay here. It was just a short scenic walk away from buey asakusa but felt peaceful and local. we could not believe how quiet it was! finding it and using provided codes was easy. Room was spacious for Tokyo and the price paid. Would book again!

Our host was very nice and responsive to our questions.The instructions and house rules sent were easy to understand. The apartment was clean but smaller than we expected, it is just nice for 2/3 people. The neighbourhood is quiet but it has a lot of stores such as supermarket, drug store, convenience stores and laundromat (there’s a small laundromat near the supermarket ) within a short walking distance. The nearest train station (Keisei-Koiwa station) is a short walk away and you can walk about 20 minutes to Koiwa station on the Chuo-Sobu line. From Keisei-Koiwa station, you can take to Narita Airport directly without transfers).

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Tokyo! The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable trip. The location was incredibly convenient—close to public transportation, shops, and great food spots—making it easy to explore the city. Communication with the host was clear and timely, and check-in was a breeze. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the place feel like a home away from home. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Tokyo!

The apartment was clean, modern. Everything we needed was provided, including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and reliable Wi-Fi. Check-in was smooth, and the host was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. It was close to the Shibuya with easy access to the station, shopping, great food, and all the iconic spots like Shibuya Crossing. Yet the apartment itself was tucked away in a quiet corner, so we had peaceful nights.

This place located near Hon Chiba Station and the best way to get here is easier through this station rather than Chibadera Station. Hon Chiba Station route has flat roads, while Chibadera Station route is full with ups and downs. The facilities are so clean and has everything we need. It's neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, the road in front of apartment is wide but taxi oftenly mistaken and always arrived in the other side of the road. 7-elevens, and vending machines are easy to find near the house. We would love to come back here next time.

I stayed 3 nights in Tomohito’s apartment with my wife and my daughter. I can confidently share that it was the best airbnb experience we had so far not because of the perfect location, beautiful and large apartment but also the friendly and supportive communication of the hosts. I really felt like we were staying in our apartment. No need to mention that the stairs might be a littlle bit challenging with heavy suitcases but all in all, I can not think of any other place to stay in Tokyo next time after this experience

I had a wonderful three-day stay in Funabashi. It was convenient for visiting Tokyo Disneysea, and the traditional Japanese-style house left a deep impression on me.

We were a group of 8, and it was a very spacious and lovely place to stay!! I said I needed some BBQ equipment, and they prepared it, but there was still equipment left from people who had stayed there before us, so we used that too!!! Thank you for providing a wonderful stay!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Hama Family’s Airbnb. The apartment is of a very high standard, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully appointed with an eye for detail that made it feel like a home away from home. Everything we could possibly need was provided, and we were left wanting for nothing. The beds are on the firmer side, which is quite typical in Japan, but compared to other places we have stayed, they were of excellent quality and very comfortable. We all slept very well. Communication with the hosts was excellent. Whenever we had a question, they responded quickly and politely, which made the whole experience very smooth and reassuring. The location is fantastic, with great restaurants and cafes nearby, and convenient access to sightseeing across Tokyo. Overall, this was a great experience and we would happily return. Highly recommended!

The house was excellent for the needs of our group and was very comfortable and large (Please keep in mind that this is still a traditional Japanese-sized house, so this statement should be understood from that lens and not from some Western understandings of large). The house was quite close to the station on the Mita line (Nishi-Sugamo) and a longer walk but still doable to Itabashi station. The amenities were great, and the bathroom downstairs with shower upstairs was critical for a larger group. We found the kitchen and options great and enjoyed resting in the living room and dining room.

It was super comfortable staying at this place and would recommend to others.

The one word to describe this home is EFFICIENT. It is cute, organized and very well maintained. It's also cleaned properly. I had everything I needed for a short stay. The best part is the host is uber quick to respond to messages. Good host. House is about 20minutes walk from Koiwa station and from there you can go anywhere in Tokyo. There are restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. Note: train runs by the house but for some reason the sound did not bother me. Definitely recommend.

We had a pleasant stay in Tokyo in this accommodation located in the Ikebukuro neighborhood. The description and photos are very accurate. Everything went well: special mention to the host who is very responsive if you have any questions!

Some people run their Airbnb just as a business, but it's clear that Yudike and Asami have a genuine passion for hospitality and meeting new people. One glance at the adorable guestbook lets you know the level of care and consideration that they put into every aspect of their property. We stayed as a family with one child, and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. Odawara is a wonderful, vibrant, and entirely friendly city that is bound to blow up in tourism over the next few years. Everything is four minutes away -- the station, Don Quijote, Daiso, dinner options, family breakfast chains, a bus to Yunessun. I will definitely be back, and hopefully able to stay at this exact same spot.

This was our first Airbnb in Japan and it started off the trip well. 5 full size beds in 3 bedrooms was great for privacy. Mattresses are on the firm side. It's in the middle of K-town so lively and exciting, but on Monday night, I could hear people and k-pop playing until 4 am. Luckily I enjoy the music and was so jet-lagged, I slept through most of it. There's a filtered water dispenser, which is very nice for filling reusable bottles for the day and not having to worry about buying from the store. There's a couple hosts and the one who was in charge of communication during the trip was very responsive, even when I messaged at 7 am (sorry!) The dining table was nice to eat quick meals at and a Lawson is right around the corner. The shower was fairly clean, but we did have to use the designated shower slippers and the area right outside the shower lacked clean space to put down our clean clothes or toiletry bags etc. Not a big deal unless you're a germaphobe. Overall great experience!

Great location! So close to the hustle and hustle of Shibuya and yet so quiet and so peaceful and in such a great area! I loved the location! The home is clean and very spacious and especially for Tokyo standards and had everything we needed. Close to all types of shopping, grocery, dining, bars and restaurants. The host is very responsive and I appreciated that as well. Overall, I recommend this home for its great location in Tokyo and the fact that it’s a clean and spacious home with a responsive host.

Yoko’s place is great for couples and small families. We brought our dog and he loves the place too. Her place is convenient placed near some famous Hakone spots, making it easy to navigate around town.

This is a truly wonderful place to stay—surrounded by nature and filled with an incredible sense of peace, accompanied by the gentle sound of birds and a flowing river. Honestly, the photos don’t do it justice; the property is even more beautiful in person, and I’m so glad we chose it. Eriko was a fantastic host, always attentive and thoughtful. We walked to an onsen just 10 minutes away, which was an amazing experience. The private onsen on the property was perfect for my little girls (5 and 7 years old), and enjoying breakfast on the balcony with the sound of the river in the background felt absolutely magical. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Hakone.

エイホウさん was an amazing host. Very warm, friendly and positive attitude, always responsive. I loved my 7-day-stay at this apartment and it was mainly because of エイホウさんpresence. The price is right, the location was very quiet and close enough to 2 subway/train stations which made it easy to go anywhere. Thank you エイホウさん for everything!!

Our family of 7 stayed here. We all loved how clean and spacious it is! Shibuya is a busy place but this airbnb is just a stones throw away. Definitely quiet for a peaceful rest at night! It had everything we need! We loved it!
