Family-friendly vacation rentals in Tofino

I really enjoyed staying at Penny’s place. It was exactly as described. We found it private and peaceful. It was also located in a great spot with access to all the things we wanted to do - beach, hikes, and food! We didn’t get to use the sauna but the hot tub was amazing. The outdoor shower was also a great touch! Penny is also very responsive!

The Homestead is a beautiful home in a beautiful, quiet location with amazing views. The house is clean, and overall is good but has many small annoyances of items that haven’t been well maintained. - Stove top elements: some don’t work, those that do are very finnicky and jump from very hot to cool repeatedly while using - Kitchen sink is near to falling out / disconnecting from the counter - Dishwasher soap door is gone & can’t seem to change settings (but does still clean) - Blinds make a horrible high pitched squeal when rolling down - Window crank handles fall off when using - Shower handles super loose and wobbly - Downstairs toilet wobbles - Hot tub has a broken jet and some buttons that don’t work (but is still hot and bubbles) - Fireplace in photos is not usable

Beautiful, peaceful retreat within minimal driving distance to all the beaches, Pacific Rim National Park and to the town of Tofino. Chesterman Beach is otherworldly and is within biking, walking or driving distance. The Treehouse retreat has close access to bike trails. Uniquely-designed home and curated amenities with Emily Carr-esque tree canopy creating a private oasis nestled within a rainforest environment. Simply amazing!

Would definitely stay here again! Fabulous place, clean, bright, welcoming & private! We used the hot tub everyday! It’s a brisk 5 minute walk to Chesterman Beach (my favourite) and a nice location for the activities we did but far enough out of town that it felt private.

The pictures do not do this place justice. It is absolutely magical, in the perfect location, perched in the mountains yet right in the heart of town, with everything you could need. Highlights are the balcony with absolutely breathtaking views and an outdoor shower with these same views. Could not have asked for a better place to stay.

The cottage is perfectly situated overlooking the water and provides gorgeous mornings and evenings. It is a nice quiet escape and the hot tub is very relaxing. I would recommend!

Amazing place to relax and enjoy Tofino ! The Dream Cottage is clean, with a West coast, homely vibe, beautiful gardens. It really has everything you need. Enjoy a short walk thru the rainforest to Chesterman’s beach. Adventure for the dogs and kids. Amazing place to hang with family. Come every year. Thanks for sharing the Dream Cottage.

Our whole family loved Laurens place. we stay in many Airbnbs and this was everyone's favorite. definitely some quirks that might not be right for everyone (Jack and Jill bathroom and the private suite with a separate entrance) but for us (family of 5 with 2 teens) this house was perfect. It had a beautiful view of the harbour and we enjoyed watching the eagles each day from the large living room windows. We would love to stay again!

We felt so lucky to stay at Barbra’s place in Tofino. The surroundings were beautiful and right on the beach. Just lovely! We hope to come back one day. Thank you Barbra for an amazing stay!

Amazing place to stay in ucluelet! It’s perfect for groups and family

So happy to have found Heather and Dan’s spot - it was the perfect place for our 4 nt stay in the Ucluelet/Tofino area! The space was comfortable, clean, cozy, and well appointed and thoughtfully designed. It’s a quick bike ride or drive to Ucluelet, and a nice 15ish minute walk to the Ucluelet Lighthouse Loop trail. Norma's House was very comfortable, eclectic, and had a warm atmosphere. The main floor is very large with a big kitchen, and lots of space and seating in the living room. I also loved the large "mudroom/laundry room" at the back of the main floor which had loads of storage for all our food and coolers that we brought. The yard is very private with lots of seating on the deck. It is no longer a "4 min walk" to Cox Bay as the secret trail is no longer, but it is only a 10 min walk if you go down the driveway to Pacific Sands resort which also has lovely outdoor coffee shop that we enjoyed. It is also only a 5 minute drive to South Chesterman beach which we enjoyed. Also - there is not 3 bedrooms as advertised - there are 2 bedrooms and a landing upstairs. So the 3rd bed on the landing has really no privacy which should be mentioned. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Tofino is always a pleasure.

Mark’s place is stunning and has everything you could need when staying away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The amount of space you get is perfect for a group of people. We never tired of looking at the views from the the balcony. Mark is a great host and we’d love to stay in his place again in the future.

One of the greatest air bnb’s we’ve even stayed at. Perfectly clean, beautiful cabin in a fantastic location. Walkable to nearby beaches, peaceful and really did feel like a home away from home

Good stay at Mike's place. The house is in a great location walking distance to everything in town, and just a short drive to the major beaches. everything was well stocked in the house and the hot tub was a nice treat.

Fantastic hosts, wonderful location, stunning. The wider family welcomed us and looked after us throughout our stay. If you stay here we cannot recommend highly enough the whale tour and the Gray Whale cafe and shop.

Beautiful condo, beautiful town of Ucluelet! Perfect location. Had a fabulous dinner at Pluvio, went fishing with Captain Dean Robin of Peninsula Charters (caught salmon, lingcod, rockfish). If you have an opportunity to stay at Laura’s condo, please do so, you will leave wanting to come back like we were.

Loved this place so much! It was very cute and comfortable. I will definitely be recommending this cottage to friends and would love to stay here again. It felt very private and was just perfect! Stay here!!!

We had a lovely family getaway and the Grapevine Guest House. Proximity to a variety of outdoor activities and a comfortable indoor space made this a wonderful home away from home.

We stayed at Wildflower for 3 blissful nights in May. Words can’t do justice to the experience of gazing out the ocean from the tent site, tidepooling in the mornings, and watching the moon rise over the water at night. We stayed cozy by our fireplace stocked with plenty of wood - one of many thoughtful touches that made the place feel like home. The hosts were absolutely lovely and super responsive and helpful. I can’t recommend this beautiful place enough - can’t wait to come back.

Great hosts and terrific property. Clean, well appointed accommodation, comfortably sleeping 4 adults. So easy to find, it is also across from the community sports field,so a great area to play football/softball etc or to spectate at local gatherings. My 1 piece of advice - the images for the property DO NOT do it justice. So don't debate, get it booked👍

Smokey point was great very clean with easy access to Tofino and Ucluelet. The hosts were easy to communicate with The kitchen was well equipped. We had a wonderful time.
