It was more than spacious enough for five people to stay, and we had a relaxing stay. It was close to the station and there was an elevator, making it convenient, but I was a little scared to go out at night in terms of safety, so I tried to go home early. The host was very kind, and it was helpful to have a detailed explanation and information about the area. I think it's perfect for large groups and families.

It was a sudden stay, so the number of people changed, but the amount was fixed, so it was easy to use. It was all a double bed and the guests gathered, so it might be helpful to rent a futon, but I was able to use it without any inconvenience. I didn't really care that it was on the 4th floor, but I think the stairs were narrow and disturbed by the guests at the shop on the 2nd floor. At the event, it is very helpful to have a large number of people and a place where you can sleep with small fish, so we will stay again. Thanks for your hospitality.

800m from TobuNikkoSt. traditional Japanese-style

Our stay in this traditional Japanese house was wonderful! The quaint Japanese hominess made us feel instantly welcome, and the very comfortable floor beds provided such restful sleep. We especially loved the gentle wood/cedar scent in the main bedroom—it added such a calming, natural touch. The location was great, too, with easy walking distance to everything in town. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and cozy experience!

Private sauna & BBQ | Kogokan Retreat Sauna & Stay Kikisho

This is a beautiful traditional home with abundant space. The sauna was a nice bonus. We spent time touring pottery galleries, pottery workshops and many pottery stores. We enjoyed the ancient indigo dyeing and weaving studio, the Shoji Hamada Museum. While we didn’t have a car, walking was easy as most locations were within 20min of our temporary home. Thank you!

Before the stay, we received a polite message about nearby recommended spots and amenities, and I was very excited to arrive on the day! On the day, we had a barbecue, a bonfire, fireworks, and a lot of summer-like things, and it was a great memory.🥩 The room had all the necessary furniture, as well as small items that would be nice to have on a trip, such as charging cords and hair irons, so we had a comfortable time! Thanks to your help, I had a wonderful trip, and I am full of gratitude🙌
