Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Toccoa River

We stayed here for a weekend trip with friends. The view was great, the cabin was just as it was described and it was perfect for our trip. The host, Chelsea, was very responsive to any questions we had. We loved having the hot tub for the cool nights as well. We would definitely visit here again.

What a lovely lake cabin escape! Gilbert was communicative and very accommodating. We really enjoyed the kayaks, fire pit, and relaxing on the dock. The place has all the essentials and cute rustic charm. I’d definitely stay here again!

Nothing but great things to say! Our host was super nice and responded quickly when we needed to communicate! The cabin is on the side of a mountain so you get beautiful views! With that being said I wouldn’t recommend driving at night if not used to driving mountain roads and the description of the road is accurate it’s a one way with some pull off areas for traversing. You don’t have to have 4 wheel drive during non winter season but there are people with cars that live there but we wouldn’t have felt comfortable to do that. The stairs to go up to the master bedroom are steep as she said but they have a non slip grip tape on each step and there are gates at every level for children/pets. The hot tub was so nice and was already up and running when we arrived. There were towels, dishes, some condiments, and a decent amount of kitchen utensils and such. Downtown blue ridge and ellijay are both pet friendly places! Amicalola state park is beautiful with an easy hike to the waterfall.

Wow. Beautiful. This place was so clean it took my breath away almost as much as the views! The porch, the property, the yard, it was all perfect. I can’t wait to come back to this peaceful, quiet place and bring my big doggie girl. We’ve stayed in “pet friendly” places before. Often they smell pet friendly. This place smells like nothing. The best smell EVER. It doesn’t smell like someone is covering up what you could imagine pet stays would need to conceal. It was just like being in our own home. Easy to fine, climate control easy to use, lots of windows, plenty of parking, and home was easy to access. Love, love, love.

We had an amazing stay at this property, absolutely gorgeous inside and out! Mike and Samantha were fantastic hosts, very responsive and helpful with any questions we had during our visit. The views of the surrounding trees were stunning, and we were lucky enough to see deer roaming the property every morning, which made it feel even more magical. The home itself was exactly as described, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay in Bobby and Dina’s beautiful, river house and they were the perfect hosts! They were very responsive to questions and even offered area suggestions including a wonderful local butcher, for our BBQ night on the deck, listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. This home had everything we needed to prepare meals, very clean and tastefully decorated. We highly recommend this home for your trip to the Murphy area and would love to return when we have more time to fish & kayak!

We really enjoyed our stay! The home and surrounding area were both beautiful. Loved having a peaceful, private place and still being just a quick drive to so many places. Would recommend staying here if you are visiting anywhere in the area!

Great location! Small cozy guest house. Parking spot was tight for our large 2500 but we made it work. Recommendations were great.

This was our first time booking Airbnb. Anne and Frank were absolutely amazing hosts. The suite was perfect, clean, and spacious. We will definitely be back. We could not have asked for a better first experience. Highly recommend!!!

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here, from the home itself to the outdoors surrounding it was exactly the peaceful, serene environment we were needing. The house literally had everything that we could’ve possibly needed cookware wise and even cleaning wise because although we were on vacation in a neat freak and with 2 boys the messes are sure to follow. Our host was so kind and responsive and gave us so many wonderful recommendations for things to do with our sons. We did not want to leave 💕 thank you so much for having us.

I loved staying at the Cozy Boho Cabin! It was exactly as shown, with every amenity and thoughtful touch. The games, record player and record selection, charging pads on the bedside tables…everything was great. The location is 10 minutes from Ellijay’s downtown and about 15 minutes from the rec center, with a big workout room, indoor pool, tennis courts and arcade, which my 10-year-old nephew loved. We had such a great time there. It was a perfect weekend getaway to the mountains!

This place is phenomenal! Even with bad weather there were a ton of games and enough space to be warm and cozy. We have so much fun inside and out. North Georgia has beautiful places to visit and, if you like stones and crystals, fun places to do simple mining. The house is wonderful, very clean, well equipped, just bring your food. Corey, the host, is great communicator and always responds my messages quick. This was our 2nd time and we are planing the return.

Tree Oasis!! Bird Dog Lodge is perfect for a getaway. Very clean and great when traveling with pets. Bobby is super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here! We’ll definitely be back!

What a sweet AirBnb right on the Cooswattee River. Rachel our hostess was just awesome. Proactively making sure, if we were doing good. Loved the log cabin feel. Super clean rooms. Since we were only 2 people, we never used the upstairs. What I also loved was each room had extra electrical extensions which I never experienced in other Airbnb. The owners had kayaks & tubes for us to use but out of the 3 nights, we had only 1 afternoon of sun. It was crazy rain for the rest of the days but we loved the way the river raged. Loved the hot tub. Best of all we heard and saw nature from the bathtub. Deers, geese & ducklings walk past the windows & hot tubs. We also saw groundhogs to & from the cabin. To hear the peace, quietness of nature is irreplaceable. We are grateful to our host for allowing us to stay. We will be visiting many more times. Thank you!

The cabin was great just like the pictures. The area is quiet and peaceful. So much to do in the area for outdoor activities. The games at the house are awesome the kids had so much fun. It was nice relaxing in the hot tub after a day hiking some of the local trails. The whole family had a great time and we can’t wait to go back.

First of all, I must say Amy was an excellent host! Everything matched up with the photos of the place and all the details in the house were spot on. We all had a wonderful stay at The Hatch and will definitely return. Although close to the highway, with the surrounding landscape, we still felt as though we were in a very private location. Easy walk across the street to the store for forgotten supplies if needed. All in all, an amazing stay!!

This cabin was great for a weekend get away with top tier fishing spots all around. Comfortably fit a group of 5 and Philip was super responsive, providing great local recommendations, and even some useful fishing tips. Our favorite part was the fishing shack right on the river, as we were able to catch a few trout right off of the porch. Definitely recommend this place and will be coming back.

Great location. Even though we had bad weather we had a great time. Enjoyed the hot tub and the swing on the porch. The cabin was super cute and the view was amazing!

What an amazing stay on the Toccoa River. Couples Cottage is right on the river with all the comforts a couple + dog would need. As shared in the listing, we were the only party on the property and had access to the river deck, fire pit & pavilion. In addition to amazing views & amenities the cottage was clean, well decorated, and comfy cozy! In the listing the Blue Ridge Dam generation schedule website was shared and we were sure to visit each day to understand when the water would rise. We will definitely stay at Kurt & Jeff's Couples Cottage in the future! We are new fly fishers and are entertaining the fly fishing packages offered! 🎣

Tiffany’s end of the road home is beautiful and a great location. It’s easily accessible and couldn’t have a better view of the Toccoa river. It was comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed staying there. We would stay there again.

We’ve stayed in multiple cabins throughout blue ridge, Ellijay and Jasper, this was by far one of the best experiences we’ve had. The cabin is just a short 10 minute drive or so from down town. Upon arriving you’ll notice the stunning view of lake Blue Ridge for which the pictures don’t do justice. The cabin itself was clean and extremely well equipped with kitchenware, coffee, tea, soft towels and more. The porch is lovely and has the most incredible view of the lake along with the hot tub, rocking chairs, the grill and a dining table. You can also appreciate the view from inside on the comfortable couch or dining table through large windows. The WiFi worked well, beds were comfortable, water pressure was great, and the loft had a nice pool table and arcade game system. Todd was very responsive to any inquiries. Just a short walk to the left outside you’ll find a trail through the national forest which was also lovely. We will absolutely visit again!

This is the perfect getaway for a quiet mountain retreat. The back porch is the best perch for a little quiet time to unplug. All of the basics were there for a family to feel right at home. The shallow rippling river made a little “ride” for the kids to float down until well after the sun went down. Coopers Creek store is 5-10 min away if you run out of s’mores, eggs or firewood. The locals are super friendly and hosts were superb. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends.
