Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Arresø is a 5-minute walk from the cottage and 10 minutes away is restaurant Tinggården. The area is characterized by nature and cottages and beautiful beaches within cycling distance.

Small wooden cottage located in a big parklike and lush garden, private and separate from the main house, only a few minutes to a large forest, lovely beaches and a charming town with shops, cafees and restaurants, and close to the train. It has one main room with two beds put together, a separate kitchen for simple cooking and a bathroom. The terasse has a roof and is surrounded by flowers, trees and bushes. Suited for a romantic getaway.

Hornbæk - two minutes from Hornbæk Plantage

The apartment is in a quiet residential neighborhood. There is a two-minute walk to Hornbæk Plantage. It is a dog forest and it only takes 10 minutes to walk down to the coast. Dogs are welcome, but we are old school and do not accept dogs in the bed, chair, sofa and other furniture. Your dog must be able to sleep on the floor and we are happy to provide a dog bed.

Our modern summerhouse is situated at Oroe in Isefjorden. The house lies on a 'hilly' plot owerlooking Isefjorden almost at the end of a gravel road. From the beach you can fish and swim.
