Betty's place is in a very beautiful area with lots of places to visit and lovely views and the house is in very well kept grounds and gardens. It's clean and comfortable and Betty was very helpful and welcoming, giving us lots of recommendations for local visits, places to eat etc. She also popped over with fresh eggs from her chickens on the first night, which were lovely! It's worth noting that the kitchen and lounge is one room, so it's more of a kitchen 'area' which is a little limited as to what you can cook, but that's clearly visible from the photos and it's adequate, just not very roomy. The dining area is lovely and bright though, with nice views over the garden. It's all very accessible, which worked well for our week with my mum, who had limited mobility. While it can sleep 8 people, I think it would feel cramped with more than 4 or 5 to be honest, as there is much more bedroom space than living space.

We had a great stay at Frances’ place! The house was very spacious, spotless clean, and exactly as described. It had everything we needed, and the location was super strategic—close to everything yet quiet and comfortable. Highly recommended!

It’s a lovely house in a beautiful village. Nice and quiet and very friendly locals. Pub “ O Connors” was great for food. The place was spotlessly clean. Will be going there again I hope. Great for peace and quiet. Host super helpful .😃
