Few minutes to Gambøt harbor with the characteristic fishermen's huts and steep places for the fishermen's yarns. Well hidden by the island you will also find a small bathing beach where you can also put the kayak in the water and explore Thurø and the rest of the South Funen archipelago. The house is within cycling distance to the city's best bakery and the butter bog with a beach and Denmark's most beautiful mini golf course.

If you want to do a little during the day, there are 10 minutes to Svendborg city, which has everything and is rich in culture.

You can romp on good beaches and hike in the island's forests and onto the beach meadows. Enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the old picture cutting workshop. The house has its own entrance. It contains bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room. In total, the house is 40 square meters with its own terrace and access to garden. Not suitable for wheelchair users.

Staying in our 75 square meter holiday apartment gives our guests a very special sense of vacation. When you open doors and windows, the sounds flow in from the birds of the forest, the sea, and the sea. A scent of fresh sea air meets one's nostrils. Also, the light experiences our guests as something special. Especially when the evening sun sends its rays down on the surrounding islands, you have to pinch your arm to make sure you don't dream.

Cozy older apartment of 55 sqm located in the middle of charming Thurø with a short distance to the water in all directions. The apartment, located on the ground floor, has a lovely private patio. Here you can enjoy the sun most of the day. The apartment is well-stocked with cooking utensils, good pots, etc. The home is in a nice old cinema consisting of two levels. There is free parking outside the courtyard and accommodation is via lockbox.

A light-filled living area includes a comfortable gray sectional sofa and a small dining table. Natural wood flooring enhances the space, while a compact staircase leads to the loft. Decorative planters add a touch of greenery to the inviting atmosphere.

Martin is a wonderful host, and everything was clean, nice and very cozy. And Martin's communication was brilliant throughout. I can only recommend others to rent his home if you are going to the Svendborg area.

Really nice place that I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a quiet, and beautiful stay on Ærø, where you get into gear. Very handy location close to shops, city centre and public transport. Plenty of space for us with good kitchen and bathroom. Lots of kitchenware too. Met Pia a few times as she also lives in the building. Lovely woman who was considerate of us and gave us our own space.

Stayed 3 nights in mid-May. Location is great, with an easy walk to town centre, and a big supermarket. The apartment itself is really excellent. Inside is very roomy with lots of light and is super clean. The outdoor space is unique - a huge terrace straight out of the kitchen and lounge, which gets sun all day, and is incredibly quiet and private. Solveig is a super host, with loads of information and generous offer to share her family's space. A really great stay.
