Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Thunder Bay, Unorganized

This cottage was perfect! It had the most impressive views out of anywhere we’ve stayed. The wall of windows in the living room allowed for the perfect view of the harbor. In the kitchen, there was everything we needed. Really, the whole house had everything we needed. It was a great location, easy to find (use Ross’ directions!). We loved that the house was in walking distance of several really great trails. Finally, Ross is a great host. He’s quick to respond, gave wonderful recommendations for good restaurants in Eagle Harbor and for hiking trails. And finally, we loved the art work and decorations in the house! Ross’ photography decorated many walls (he’s really good), and some included historical details on them (the little photos of ships on Lake Superior were labeled with the name of the ship and some fascinating details). We will definitely be back!

Comfortable and clean place with everything I needed. Stayed here while in Thunder Bay for work and it was nice to a comfortable place to relax in after a long day

The place is wonderful! Loved the design of the house, which is modern for the area but still suits this charming small town. We loved walking to the nearby coffee shop and then having coffee on the upstairs balcony with a view of the lake and the town. The space does have a lot of stairs, which we didn’t mind, but may not be suitable for all guests. The place was clean, well-stocked, and inviting. Great location! The host is friendly and communicative. We hope to return! :)

Viewpoint was enchantingly perfect for our family of four for a long weekend. Our children (6 and 2) were fascinated by the records and CDs, and we had dance parties every afternoon. The bedrooms and game room were perfect for them - table and chairs for coloring, board games and Twister, and a guitar for my husband to entertain them with. The outdoor table served as a perfect stage for their musical performances, and we all loved sitting on the Adirondack chairs on the porch. The grown ups loved the beautiful mug collection, proximity to Fika, easy access to Grand Marais, and the view. I have never felt more at peace than we did at the Virwpoint. Amazing didn’t want to leave! What a gem on the North Shore. The views and sounds of the waves were everything I wanted and more. The floor to ceiling windows don’t disappoint. I will be back. Very clean and cozy.

We loved the quiet, private atmosphere of this home. The views of Lake Superior were pretty and right outside the front window. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate for us to use the kayaks and bikes included with the home, but we did use the sauna and Jacuzzi tub. Note there was not a lot of restaurants or grocery stores close, so plan ahead. I would definitely stay there again!

This place is in an amazing location! The house layout is awesome and open and inviting.

We had a perfect long weekend in Houghton celebrating our twin boys graduation from MTU. We were grateful for the accessibility it offered my mom who is wheelchair bound.

Great location for anything Houghton/Hancock related!! Comfy beds and beautiful bedding. Loved the hockey theme. Felt right at home!

The unit was very clean and cozy! The kitchen was well stocked and Nicoline was very responsive! It was in a great location and we would definitely visit again!

Best Airbnb I have ever stayed at! Comfortable beds(like sleeping on a cloud) amenities and extras, soda and water in fridge, even butter and milk and cereal, the tea collection, the back yard oasis, both day and night,pool, personal welcome, kitchen well stocked, bathroom extras from lotion to vanity sets. We felt very welcomed and accepted. We will stay here next time we come from the states!

Great place in downtown Houghton. Location is very convenient, apartment was nicely updated and clean.

We had a really pleasant and carefree trip to Calumet. Rebecca was so communicative, and was always available. This place was a central reason for why our trip was so enjoyable. The place was both classy and tastefully rustic, and was spotless at our arrival. We had a great time.

The property was wonderful! Very clean, very modern and super charming loft! The beds were super comfy as well as the pillows which is always a plus for me.
