This is a beautiful house in a quiet road. It as everything you could need and is well positioned for the British normandy memorial, and the D-Day beaches

house is really beautiful and in a perfect location. we enjoyed our stay. Despite language issues ( as I dont speak french) we were able to communicate with googl translate and she made us feel inclusive

We LOVED our stay in Sommervieu. The house was simply idyllic, surrounded by flowers and with a nearby (but not too close!) field of friendly cows wandering by. The house itself was very quiet, comfortable, and fully equipped, with everything one would need in the kitchen, loads of books and games, and firewood for a roaring fire. We didn’t use the bikes or outdoor seating because the weather didn’t cooperate, but would love to come back and try them someday. Sophie and François were super attentive, offering local suggestions and also pointers for when we moved on to Paris, suggesting a restaurant in Paris where we later had a delicious lunch! Thank you so much for hosting us, we hope to come back!

The accommodation is welcoming, very clean, tastefully decorated and the many beds allowed us to have a great birthday weekend. The adjoining rooms were not a problem for our weekend with friends. The supply of linens and towels is very nice. The kitchen and accommodation are very well equipped with basic groceries available. We were able to arrive early because the place wasn't occupied before us. The weather didn't allow us to enjoy the outdoor facilities much. The jacuzzi is a bonus that we particularly appreciated. Only drawback during our stay: the N13 which is nearby can be noisy depending on the time of day.

It was a very pleasant stay. We stayed there for a week and visited everything we wanted about D-Day. The hostess is very friendly and everything we needed was present in the cottage. The cottage was very neat and very clean. In short, it is highly recommended to stay for a week.

What a perfect stay we have had, truely outstanding. The cottage was so pretty, clean and beautifully furnished. The location was excellent for exploring the vast history and beautiful Normandy countryside. Rodolphe and his family were extremely welcoming, friendly and on hand to offer any help or recommendations. We really enjoyed every minute and would love to return next year. Highly recommend. Romain Et Céline's AirBnb was a lovely little retreat in Caen. You can reach it from the train station with a 30 minute walk or you can take the tram which gets you there in about 10-15 minutes. The location is in the center of the city. It is a five minute walk to several restaurants for dinner and you are never further than 20-25 minutes walk from most of the popular tourist sites. The listing itself had all the promised amenities. There was not much sound at night so we all slept well. Three of us comfortably used the space. The internet was also able to handle all of us using it at the same time. The shower also had good water pressure and hot water. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and the check-out instructions were quite reasonable. Romain messaged to ask how our stay was going was quick to respond whenever I had questions. I had a wonderful time and would be happy to rent this AirBnb again.

We had a great time in the "cabins" accommodation at Stéphane and Laetitia's. Very clean accommodation, beautiful equipped kitchen. Recommended 😊

It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I would recommend staying here to anyone. Nicholas was very responsive and accommodating. After 10 days traveling in Europe as a family, it was so nice to have some space to spread out in rather than staying another night in a hotel. There was a washing machine which we took advantage of to have some clean clothes to get us through the rest of the trip. The AirBnb is in a great location! Walkable to the Bayeux Tapestry, Bayeux Cathedral and lots of great restaurants and cafes.

Cozy unique apartment with beautiful view to an old church. It is also in a beautiful shopping street with pubs and restaurants. The aparment itself has everything you need, and you get alot of value for your money. The owner answers quick and with clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again!

They don't lie about the beauty of this apartment, we had an amazing stay! The view of the castle is awesome and you are right in the city centre. The apartment is spacious, clean and cozy. You are provided with some great tips about what you can do during your stay, both within the city and Normandy. They provide you with everything you need for an amazing stay in Caen, we highly recommend this place!

Light, bright open flat with fully stocked kitchen, large dining table and comfy sofa living room. Bedrooms were large (we had the single studio next door - separate key required) as well. Instructions were clear, housekeeper was prompt in responding to check in time and inquiries. It is on the 3rd floor above ground level so be prepared for lots of steps (the last flight is quite narrow) Location right next to grand hotel with beach entrance across the street and walkable to all the restaurants and shops. Great stay!

Great place to stay. Very good location, very walkable with lots of restaurants and things to do right around the corner. The apartment was very nice and VERY high value. Well worth the low price we paid. Marie was an excellent host, very accommodating and friendly. I would stay here again if I came through the area!

It's not easy to find a place to stay for a family or friends get together. Everything is there here. Number of bedrooms and beds, recreational equipment for children and adults, dishes, seats, all in number for a large group. It's clean. My garden is nice, like the house. Thanks again for this weekend!

Great place to stay with our family. The house is just like the pictures. It is very comfortable! The location is great as well. We saw Normandy beaches, Mont. St. Michel, and Bayeaux. I would highly recommend this lovely home if you are in the area!

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

We had a wonderful week in this property just outside of the town of Deauville. The house is located in a quiet suburban area with a Carrefour just a couple of minutes walk down the street which was very convenient. The large walled garden was great for the kids and the table tennis table, sun loungers, outdoor eating area, and table football all proved popular! The house itself is absolutely stunning - a beautiful traditional style timber framed building. The interior has a lot of exposed wood beams and very high quality furnishings. Everything that we needed was provided and we were very comfortable during our stay. The local town of Deauville has plenty going on including shops, bars, and restaurants. It's a pretty place with a harbour and some canals - lovely to be by the water. Between the house and Deauville is a wide sandy beach with stunning views along the coastline from Villers sur Mer to La Havre. Well worth a visit!

We had a great weekend! Listing matches the photos and description. The sea view is really very pleasant, you can't get enough of it :) Everything is designed to make us feel at home! Nice tastefully decorated. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is very well-equipped & everything is very clean ✨ Virginie is nice, responsive & accommodating. We would recommend this listing without hesitation & would happily stay again!!

We found the house as we were presented and as we expected it. The part of the house is well and sympathetically furnished. There was nothing missing in the kitchen. We really enjoyed the conservatory. However, I would have considered here in high summer, as shading of the glass roof was not possible. I highly recommend this as the place to stay.

The villa is as described on the website. Same for the amenities present. Everything was impeccable and we had a lovely stay Michael was also available and gave good advice in advance when we needed it
