Monthly Rentals in Thrapsano

We stayed for 5 nights and had the best time! Manolis place is beautiful, clean and an oasis to recharge and relax. The little house that we stayed in on his farm had everything you would need, beautiful outdoor seating and is private. On the farm you have cats and chickens, beautiful flowers, studding views, etc. Manolis and his family are amazing hosts, probably the best ones we have had so far, extremely friendly and welcoming, they provided us with fresh produce from the village, organized activities and a small dinner for us and were always available. The village is really old and authentic, you can take a little walk. For everything else you definitely need a car and getting up to the farm requires some good driving skills since the streets are very narrow and steep. Over all it really was a 10/10 experience and we will definitely come back! Thank you Manolis & family

Our stay in Thrapsano was phenomenal, we loved every second of it! This cutesy village only half an hour away from the capital Heraklion is a great choice to explore the center of the island and beyond. The place has a lot to offer, not only two living rooms with two TVs but also two kitchens (!). The second kitchen was on the same premise in a separate building. This made it very convenient for us to cook and whatnot, especially with the big BBQ outside present as well. Clean place too, cannot recommend it enough. Aria is also very responsive when we had questions and she had left fruits, toasts, a bottle of wine and raki in the fridge for us. Such a nice gesture! Do take notice of the narrow streets in the center of the village though, we didn’t mind.

Manolis place was just what we needed, beautiful mountain scenery, locally grown vegetables and lots of little villages to visit in the near by surroundings.

Lovely place to stay and well set up - we had a very comfortable couple of days Fabulous to be welcomed with fresh produce most of which was home grown in the fridge and a bottle of wine as well as oils and vinegar and tea and coffee Would definitely stay there again
