The basement apartment is a 5-minute walk from both supermarkets and bus station, with direct connection to Aarhus. You would love the basement apartment because it is close to everything that is called shopping, stores, and bus station.

WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the amazing nature, right up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. There's also a sauna in connection with the lake. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city center. There are 2 km to Pizzaria and shopping in Virklund. There is wifi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

The apartment is divided into a living room and bedroom. In the living room, you will find a sofa that can be converted into a comfortable two-person bed, as well as a table with space for 4 people. The bedroom has two single beds that can be converted into a double bed. The apartment is located in a quiet area with immediate parking attached.

The Confirmation Room is located at the opposite end of our private home and has its own entrance. 5 minutes to Ans (shopping, etc.). 15 minutes to Silkeborg (nature, restaurants, culture, shopping) 45 minutes to Aarhus (with everything the city of smiles has to offer.)

There is also a large living room with the possibility of "cinema" cosiness with a large screen, a game of foosball or just pure relaxation with a good book. The bathroom is located on the ground floor. There's a nice sofa bed and good box mattresses.

Boligen ligger helt op ad landevejen men har lydisolerede vinduer. Men støj fra trafik må forventes- særligt i hverdagene, hvor der kører lastbiler og traktore og ved høsttid. If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
