Just a short trip away is the lovely little village of Ripley. A perfect sport for a little coffee and a bite. A must try is their famous ice cream too

A working castle, and a nice pub in the village too. Lovely grounds, and on the no. 36 bus route, which goes every 10 minutes.

Famous for its ice cream parlour and castle, this spot has to be a favourite for tourists on weekends in the day time.

Ripley is just a five miniute drive down the road. You can grab yourself an icecream from the famous shop and have a walk down past the castle. They have a great Gin shop, craft shop and café (all dog friendly). There is also a lovely play park at the edge of the village. They often have events running at the castle and you can also visit. Great way to spend the afternoon.
