An outing best done if overnighting or staying in Jasper on the way to our region for example as it is a 4.5 hour drive from our cabin. It is highly recommended you try to do this on a clear day to get the best experience and of course the best views. The Jasper SkyTram whisks you up Whistlers Mountain to an elevation of 2,263 m, providing stunning vistas of mountain ranges. From the observation deck, you can hike the trail up to the summit if you have the time or feel adventurous. Ensure you bring layers of clothing with you, as even on a sunny summer's day, it gets quite chilly and windy there. The vistas of the whole of the Canadian Rockies (almost it seems) are incredible as you can see Mount Robson in British Columbia on a clear day!!

Take the SkyTram to the top of the world, with a tour guide to point out the different mountain ranges and history of the town. There is a great cafe and gift shop at the top, with lots of walking trails.
