Vallakot Farm Miðbær

Vallakot Farm Guesthouse is a small guesthouse, located in Northeast Iceland in the middle of the Diamond circle. It is situated in a green and peaceful valley called Reykjadalur and the village Laugar is only a few kilometers away with a restaurant, grocery shop, a swimming pool and other amenities. Vallakot Farm is both a farm and a guesthouse and a place that has been in the family for decades. We have three studio apartments built in 2017 and a cabin that we finished renovate in June 2023.

This newly renovated one-bedroom apartment is located in the peaceful village of Laugar, within 30 minutes' drive of Akureyri, Mývatn and Húsavík. Towels and bed linen are provided. Free parking and private entrance. WiFi is free throughout the premises. A restaurant and grocery store are within 200m of the property.

Charming rural cabin for couples, outdoor shower

Registered number:- HG-00020047. The cabin is 15 m2 and is a hidden nugget in our garden overlooking the fjord opposite Akureyri. The cabin was completed in April 2020. There is a kitchenette with a kettle, microwave and fridge. The WC is separate inside with a hand basin. The cabin is private and there is a half wrap around deck to enjoy the evening views and midnight skies. There is an outside shower with hot water for a natural experience. All products in the cabin are fragrance-free.

Eurovision movie apartment

Eurovision movie apartment located in the heart of Húsavík, the whale watching capital, is the best place to stay to experience local Icelandic vibes. This house was built in 1904 which makes it one of the oldest (and coolest :) houses in Húsavík. What is more, the Eurovision movie was shot there. 2 floors apartment with 3 bedrooms and spacious living room gonna make your stay unforgettable. Sólsetur (Sunset) Syðri-Haga

Peaceful and lovely cottage on the land of farm Syðri-Hagi with lovely ocean views. Located on the west side of Eyjafjörður, with majestic mountain ranges and welcoming valleys. The cottage Sólsetur (Sunset) is 25 square meters, built 2016-2017. The cottage has one bedroom with two beds and a sleepingcouch for two in the livingroom. The kitchen is fully equiped. Facilities for four persons. On the terrace there is a geothermal hot tub and a gas grill.

Láfsgerði is by the ring road, highway no. 1 and easy to find. The easiest way is to type the name into MAPS and it will take you to the location. Láfsgerði is exceptionally well located in terms of day trips to all the most interesting places in the northeast of Iceland; Goðafoss waterfall is a 5-minute drive away Lake Mývatnssveit 20 minutes' drive Húsavík 30 min. We are located 20km from Akureyri, so this cabin is the perfect location for those seeking peace and quiet, nature, northern lights or just a great base on the Arctic Coastway.

A little cabin built in year 2015 in an amazing location in the wonderful Lake Myvatn area. Surrounded by nature and birdlife you'll feel right at home in our cozy cabin, with a kitchen, queen size bed, full bathroom and a big hot tub. Self catering. Hot tub access. Beautiful views only few steps from the cabin. The pseudo craters in the north and the wetland and the mountains in the south and east.

Nice and homie little room in a timber cottage, perfect to unwind and experience the calm and quiet countryside, we are very central to most attractions in the area, and a great location to spot some northern lights during winter. Very little light pollution is in the area. You have everything you need with a small kitchenette and a mini fridge. Full private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer

The apartment is a part of the house complex at Sunnuhlíð, a farmland close to the town of Akureyri. The apartment is perfect for four adults, two couples or families traveling on their own. Guests can enjoy the beautiful view of Eyjafjörður and Akureyri. Additional fee for more than two guests is  € 18 per guest, per night.
