Maarten was a lovely host. The living accommodation was exactly as described and shown in the pictures and surprisingly spacious even for my giant husband. It was a short flat easy walk to the historic centre even with little legs in tow. breakfast was yummy with a special treat for my son who was very pleased that Maarten bought him a doughnut. communication was prompt and in perfect English

This is our second time staying. Very nice, soothing, very pretty places.

A moment out of time! We loved our stay at Homeboat. Peaceful environment on the canal, we had the chance to enjoy extremely favorable weather, which allowed us to enjoy the terrace until sunset... magical and very relaxing. Beautiful services of the accommodation, everything is available and very responsive host. 2 small areas for improvement for us: a blind in the children's room, probably present before but missing during our stay. And a small sign announcing the rental would be a plus, because we did not find homeboat right away, but it may be just us;-) and these are two details that do not tarnish the experience in any way. Our only regret is not taking an extra night!

Perfect stay for good money thank you

We visited for one night and the scenery was amazing. The studio was complete with air-con for hot days! The toilet is just outside and next to the entrance door.

The location of this houseboat can’t be beat! Also, for the location and money, you will not find more space available. It worked very well for our family of 5. Be sure to be outside at sunset…walk 20 seconds under the bridge and catch an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. We dined above deck most occasions and enjoyed the views of the river. The beds were comfortable and the shower was a delightful surprise as well. My 11 year old described it as a sensory overload with water coming at you from so many spouts…ha!. We loved it. Also, Therese and her family are super helpful with advice and help if questions or a need arose. The boat itself was made in 1931 and man, it is gorgeous. This thing would easily cost a fortune to construct today given the superb quality of the wood and craftsmanship. Keep in mind that you are staying on a boat and not in a hotel room and you will love it.

We (Mom, dad, and kids of 12 and 15 years) had a great stay in Tom's boat. The boat was in the city of Gent when we rented it, and we really like the city. We were right next to the tram and bus stop, so it was very easy to get around, and it was only a small 30 min walk to the center. Tom has done a great job with this boat. It is huge, so there is a lot of space, and you can really feel that Tom is an artist and has a great eye for beautiful, funny and quirky stuff, so you can spend a lot of hours just enjoying the boat. We also loved to sit outside on the patio, enjoying canal life :D As Tom also wrote to us, it is not a five star hotel, it is a home, but we also felt very much at home and just relaxed a lot. There is 3 bedrooms, so it's just perfect for us. Tom is a very nice guy, and he gave us lots of great recommendations to the local area. It is really worth listening to his suggestions, and he will gladly answer any question you may have. If you are looking for something homie and unique, I strongly recommend Toms boat (And we would love to come back in the future).

Anne was one of the best Airbnb hosts that I have ever had. She helped me locate her gorgeous houseboat and upon arriving she offered my husband and I delicious coffees on the patio that surrounded gorgeous views of the canal. The Airbnb was extremely clean and she even had snacks in the kitchen like crackers, tea, and other amenities to choose from. It was extremely peaceful and quiet and the location was just perfect. Many restaurants around the area within a walkable distance and also some supermarkets as well. I will definitely be coming back!!

This is beautiful space and unique. It provided special times in Paris for my family and I. The boat is beautiful and clean. The one thing I would tell other guests is the showers have to be short or it leaks pretty intensely. We didn’t mind taking quick ones for a week. I wouldn’t recommend anyone with long hair or who can’t rinse in under 2 mins rent this place. The hosts are lovely. I would stay again for sure.

This houseboat, along with the others like it, is a lovely place to stay off the beaten path but not too far outside Maastricht proper. The boat is cute and comfortable and is for all intents and purposes a small apartment. Don’t expect much space, but there are thoughtful details and it’s overall very pleasant. It definitely is worth renting a bike for mobility, though the ones offered by the company are quite in bad shape. Finally, there can be very gentle rocking of the boat on the water, but this is minimal and should not bother any but the most sensitive of individuals. Overall, a full recommendation, thank you!

We had a great time staying at Zoë's place! The boat was nice and coasy and really close to the city centre. The hosts, Zoë and Sebas were also really friendly! Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay on the houseboat. The location in the marina was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it a perfect spot to relax. The boat was very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The stay in the houseboat at the Marina was great. The houseboat was super clean, the beds were nice and everything was present. With four adults, it is not super spacious if you can only be inside due to the winter cold, but it was easy to do. The location is very nice with a great view and you will be in town in no time. It was a very nice stay and I look forward to coming back again in the summer.

Koen's houseboat was a great experience for a few days. By bike you can reach all the major attractions in Ghent in 10-15 minutes. Parking in the public parking only costs €3.50 per day. It is very quiet and cozy. We have had a very relaxing stay.

We spent a day at an event within our company: influencers event as part of World Health Health Day. The setting of the Seine House perfectly met our need for disconnection out of Paris and recono to ourselves and nature. Anne-Laure was very proactive and flexible, allowing us to carry out this event without any hassle. The location of the house can surprise at first, because it is after the Marina (boat parking to cross), but once the surroundings are explored it is easy to meet there. The place is full of charm, quiet and very well exposed, we were lucky enough to have the sun with us all day. A great place inedie! A very nice place to decompress and be elsewhere than in a classic BnB. A very cozy studio peniche, with BBQ on the terrace, a fireplace. Very quiet, we didn't even feel like Paris anymore, The T2 line is a 10-minute walk away with several buses nearby. Michel is excellent, the info is given very clearly. For my part, we arrived in Paris around 9.30 p.m., we went to eat, and arrived at the Peniche around noon, Michel despite the advanced time told me that there was no problem and gave me all the information I needed! At the top. I would have liked to have a card/scratch game, it has more than one day and it's true that a board game would have been at the top. Thanks anyway!

Amazing stay! Where else can you sip wine on the deck of a boat and watch the sunset while the Eiffel Tower comes to life at night? Such a cool experience and walkable to everything we wanted to see and do. Quentin was a super host—easy to communicate with and very helpful! Our party of four women loved every minute!

Atypical, quiet and pleasant accommodation, ideal for a weekend. The most important thing is a mattress worthy of the name!

We spent an exceptional day at Bertrand's on his magnificent barge. A timeless place that is totally different. Functional and clean barge, beautiful and quiet terrace.
