The house in the village

The house in the village was built with love and respect for nature. It is all made of stone and wood, characteristic architecture of the houses of Zagori. The stones used in the construction of this house were all handpicked by the home owners and all the decorative items are family heirlooms up to 5 generations back.

Τhis renovated stone-house is located in a family neighborhood of Agios Mathaios village. It is pretty close to the village's agora, where there are markets, butcher shops, taverns and cafeterias/bars away from Corfu's tourist traps.
