Cosy Log Cabin with stunning ocean views

PennyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We thoroughly enjoyed 2 nights in the tiny cabin! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, even through a monster storm. We cooked meals, enjoyed time on the patio and a short walk to Duneen Bay Beach for a dip in the ocean before the storm and then storm watching from the cozy space. Inchydoney Beach is a short drive and we'll worth a visit at low tide for a longer beach walk. Kieran was away on our arrival but his lovely Mum was there to bring the extra bedding needed for the pull out sofa and Kieran was always available by message.

What a beautiful place, and what a view! We definitely didn’t stay long enough and if they’ll have us back, we’d like to stay longer next time. Martin & Claire were fantastic hosts and made my family feel so welcome. I really appreciate all the efforts they went to for us and we really loved our stay. Ashe street apartment

As an American staying in Ireland for the first time I was very excited to come across this perfectly located unit in the heart of clonakilty. Small kitchen had all amenities required (no dishwasher tho) but I learned quickly that that was part of the charm. Front door was a bit sticky but its an older building so it is as to be expected. Apartment was clean and comfortable. I had a learning curve with the shower unit which I never did get right but that's probably on me. Beige carpeting throughout made taking shoes off immediately a requirement. I would recommend that as part of the cleaning process all streaming services are logged out of as I had a bit of a difficulty getting into mine until I was able to log last guest logged out. Extra bath towels for longer staying guests and paper towels in the kitchen would be helpful for cleanup. Hosts were very responsive and you cannot beat the location- views outside the bedroom windows were divine! I recommend and would stay again!!

We had a magical couple of days at Jenny’s Tigín Beag! Jenny and her family were warm and welcoming and the space was comfortable and very clean with lots of things for little kids to do! We arrived to fresh local treats and it really made our evening after a day of traveling!! ❤️

A stylish & bright converted carton store loft apt

GillianRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We chose this location because it was about an hour away in each direction to many places in County Cork that we wanted to visit. Clonakilty wasn’t even on our radar, and we were pleasantly surprised by what an amazing town it is! The “cottage” is adorable (so is their doggie) and very peaceful. I slept soundly in the loft under the skylight listening to the rain. Clever layout and great hosts!
