Loved staying here for a second year in a row. The hideaway hut is tranquil and the perfect break from a busy life. Love nothing more than relaxing in the hot tub and listening to nature surrounding us. Thanks again for another perfect weekend away!

Country cottage with private woodland and orchard.

GarethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Badger’s End was a fabulous cosy cottage equipped with everything we needed. The secret woodland garden at the rear of the property was amazing, very restful and listening to the birdsong was a delight. Carol was a warm and friendly host and her knowledge of the local area was extremely helpful and informative. There are many things to do in the locality, so if you enjoy walking, cycling through the Forest of Dean (Pedalaway to hire bikes was brilliant) & generally love nature & the countryside this is the place for you. We tended to pack ourselves a picnic lunch most days as we enjoy exploring and being out in the open air, but we did eat out a couple of nights at The Ostrich Inn (5 minute drive from the property) and Amici’s Italian (10 minute drive), both were good, but best to book early for The Ostrich if you’re planning to eat there on the weekend. Overall, our stay was excellent and I would highly recommend a stay at this fabulous property. Thank you Carol x

The Old Coach House at Tintern, the Wye Valley

DeborahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely cottage. Great location. Nice to spend first day wandering to the lovely Abbey Mill & then of course Tintern Abbey. Cottage was lovely & we appreciated all the bits & pieces, coffee/tea/bread & butter & toiletries. Spiral staircase a bit onerous. Can't remember if you highlighted this but we both struggled with it. Garden iron chairs pretty but gosh painful (I ended up using dining chair but taking in each night). 1st day, car from neighbouring property was parked on sloped drive blocking our access which wasn't great given they had allocated parking & made our entry with cases & food stuffs difficult. Hoping all above constructively critical because aside of these, lovely time had & really enjoyed. Again not sure if you mention road noise but Kay was in front bedroom & struggled with this a lot. Lol i slept like a log! Thank you, really enjoyed & glad we came. Lol you can't do anything about road noise but if not mentioned in your ads, maybe should x

Alpaca Luxury Lodges - Gardenfield Cabin

GavinRating, 5 stars1 day ago
My friends and I had an excellent stay here. The location was perfect for our biking trip and exploring the local area. The lodge was fantastic—spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and offering everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the pizza oven, which were great additions. The views were absolutely stunning. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. Highly recommended!
