This is a private apartment on the 3rd floor of my restored 1905 home in one of Detroit's hippest neighborhoods. Private entrance, big bedroom, stocked kitchen, bathroom, eating nook, living room. So close to the river - close to Belle Isle, walk to coffee shops and restaurants. Last but not least, a top-ratee comfortable pillow top mattress so you sleep and feel great! You'll be staying in our newly constructed carriage house at the back of our property in the heart of Corktown - Detroit's oldest historic neighborhood. This private dwelling is accessed from the back alley entrance and offers high ceilings and a panoramic view of downtown and the surrounding neighborhood. The unit features 1 bedroom/1 bath, living, dining, laundry and a full kitchen. In warmer months a small cafe seating area is situated on the spanish rock drive along the green alley.

The Lavender House
Come relax at the Lavender House's upper flat! The space is overflowing with old world charm, hardwood floors, stained glass, and a large balcony facing downtown Detroit. The house was built in 1900. It is nestled next to an ambling flower garden and wooded area, with ample space for outdoor hangs. There is a fire pit and playscape for the little ones. We are just 2 miles from downtown so you can enjoy what the city has to offer, then unwind in this lovely urban countryside.
