chalet with a shared pool and private terrace

A lovely cabin in a beautiful area! Inside, nice, vintage details everywhere, outside a private patio where you can easily cook and a swimming pool for the much-needed cooling. The hosts are both super nice and very willing to give you recommendations in the area (which are well worth it!). The cherry on top is sweet dog Pipa who comes to greet you cheerfully. We felt very welcome, also to come back!
A serene landscape is depicted, featuring a calm body of water reflecting dark, cloudy skies above. Lush greenery and trees line the edge of the water, creating a peaceful atmosphere with natural symmetry.

Charming house in the heart of Morvan, Burgundy.

A great stay! The accommodation is a small haven of peace and quiet, tastefully decorated and very clean. We had everything we needed. The simplicity of the place only increased its charm and allowed us to recharge our batteries. Our hosts Dida and Alexandre were responsive and attentive. The hikes are beautiful in magical scenery. We stocked up on honey from their lovely neighbors, goats in Palaizot where we were hosted very well with an explanatory visit, vegetables and breads at the Alligny market on Friday at 5 p.m. We will be delighted to return because we were already nostalgic as soon as we left. Thank you again Dida and Alexandre.

The exterior of the rustic stone farmhouse features two windows framed in light stone, complemented by a covered gazebo in the background. A lush green area surrounds the structure, with neatly arranged stone paving leading to the entrance. The sky above is partly cloudy.

The house is lovely and the small garden too, with a very nice view and above all absolute calm! We were able to take great walks in the area. The house is very well equipped. It's perfect for a few days for two!

Château des Évêques

A simple and pleasant location. Really nice and great bedding, we slept really well. The place is quiet just next to the town hall and church. The bell rings every hour but stops at 8 p.m. and starts again at 7 a.m. But if not, it was quiet and frankly very welcoming, the host who explains everything and is very nice.
A large tree is depicted from below, showcasing its intricately branched structure against a soft blue sky. The bare branches extend outward, creating a striking silhouette that highlights the tree’s form and texture.

We came for the 2nd time and it's still so good: the rental, the environment and the very friendly owners. We will be happy to come back a 3rd time.

Very good stay at Bambou, faithful to what we expected. Bamboo also provided us with a list of great activities to do and nice places to discover! Thank you.
A large window with white panes allows natural light to flood the interior. Outside, a view of rolling hills and greenery can be seen. Wooden walls contribute to a cozy atmosphere, complemented by soft curtains that frame the window.

Stay from 06.07.25 to 06.14.25 Two adults and two small dogs. Despite the lack of a fence in front, the small enclosed terrace at the back allowed our 2 small dogs to enjoy the outdoors safely. House of good size, and lots of things available. Quiet village which is nice. Laurence was available and responsive to messages from the time of booking👍. Nice little touches. The ➕️ departure with ease for the key exchange (box to🔑) Thank you Laurence and maybe see you soon for a new stay. Jessyca and Dominique

Gîte MTB Morvan: for bike & nature lovers

AnoukRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We were looking for a quiet, simple place to stay in a beautiful setting. We found both in the gîte of Jorinde and Paul. It is tastefully and originally furnished, with a Swedish stove and a comfortable double bed in which you can sleep in total silence. Having breakfast in the morning sun in front of the house is wonderful. If you are vacationing here, you need a car, as there is no public transport. The most important groceries can be purchased in a small shop in the nearby village, which can also be reached in about 20 minutes on foot. Actually we wanted to explore the area by mountain bike, but because of an injury this was not possible. The region is also great for hiking, and on the way we always thought that we absolutely have to come back here with our bikes. Renting is also possible. Jorinde and Paul are very nice hosts. We drove home happily. :-)
