Pancho Villa - Tin Valley Retro Rentals

MayraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had an amazing time at Tin Valley, the retro Airstream was very cute and equipped with everything needed to have a comfortable stay. The surroundings of the property provided a peaceful and great scenery to disconnect and enjoy the simplicity of just being present. Ronda was very friendly, accommodating and a great communicator both in person and through the site messages :) I will definitely be back

Fabulous views, lovely toilets and shower and close to the National and State parks just above the Terilingua Ghost town. A Great option for camping. Marc was a great help sorting out which of his spots was best for our mix of a car and 2 solo tents.

Retro Rents Painted Ladies, Betty

NiravRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This is a great spot to stay while visiting the Big Bend area. The RVs are fun and match the personality of the area. If you drive an electric vehicle (Tesla or other), this is an EXCELLENT spot to stay. They have NEMA 14-50 outlet and all you have to do is bring your charging cable. Made it super convenient and easy to visit the park and the entire area in my EV. The location is perfect: right in the middle of Terlingua, walking distance from the taco place and Starlight. It's just off a paved road that goes through town. The Park is not far (depending on which part you're going to). Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Big Bend.

Greatly enjoyed our time at the RV. Great night skies for stargazing. Even got some Milky Way shots! Easy to find. Very remote, but plenty of other people nearby. Also saw some wildlife during our stay. Very relaxing.

The Zoo, Terlingua Ghosttown

ShannonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The place was so cute and in such a great location to Big Bend! We didn’t get to use the fire due to winds but the outdoor area was great to sit around after a long day. We had a problem with the AC not working and Daniel immediately came to help and gave us a backup AC even at 9 pm, and later replaced the broken one so we could be cold and comfy after hot hiking days. He was super kind, apologetic, and communicative! Great stay overall!

RV1 - rv NOT included - Tin Valley Retro Rentals

DaniRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I don't think there is a spot better in the Big Bend area to stay and camp than Ronda's spot. It is surrounded by mountains on all sides, there is running water, a shower, so much solitude, and every day we drove back to our campsite it felt like coming home. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone coming into the area! We will be back :)

Great place for price! We enjoyed the surrounding Mountain View. Ronda was sooo kind and helpful with everything we need. Our only downfall was the private shower house and cracked water tank for the RV but hey, it’s the dessert! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thankful for the stay. Highly recommend.

Ghostown-A/C, showers/bathrooms, WiFi, all weather

JosefineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This place was magical and so serene! In the perfect location and so cute! I only stayed there a night but would have loved to stay longer. You have a hammock and a little space outside to enjoy the sunrise or watch the stars. (Did both and it was incredible!) The interior is made so cute and cozy and everything was super clean. AC also worked great. The outside shower and bathroom were one of the cleanest and nicest ones I’ve seen in a long time - I usually hate having to go out to shower but the outside shower was actually nice and a fun experience. I would only say be aware that the road is bumpy (got there on a spare tire and made it though) and try to get there while it’s still light out, definitely makes it easier to find. But that is probably true of any place in the Terlingua Ghost Town. It is so close to everything as well, even though it doesn’t feel that way since it’s so quiet and serene. Would definitely stay there again and cannot recommend it enough!

My stay was absolutely wonderful! The desert setting offered a serene atmosphere, with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, and stunning starry nights. One of the highlights was spotting a covey of quail visiting in the mornings and late afternoons. The accommodations were comfortable, with a plush bed, surprisingly strong Wi-Fi, and a generous almost full-size fridge. A perfect retreat to unwind and connect with nature.

Big Bend Bunkhouse #3 - 1 mile from Big Bend NP

Our stay in Mariana’s RV in Terlingua was absolutely wonderful and made our trip to Big Bend National Park even more enjoyable. The RV was spotless upon arrival—so clean and well-kept that we immediately felt at ease. The southwestern decor added charm and a true sense of place, making it feel cozy and inviting. The beds were extremely comfortable, with fresh, clean sheets, and there were plenty of pillows and blankets to keep us comfortable no matter the weather. After long days of hiking and exploring Big Bend, it was great to return to such a comfortable and relaxing space. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed and quickly answering any questions we had. The location was perfect—just a short drive to restaurants, coffee shops, and all the historic sights in Terlingua. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our adventure. Highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting the area!

Cozy Caravan ll 10 minutes to BBNP

VenancioRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Kym’s RV trailer was the perfect place to stay. Everything that was highlighted matched the description. The trailer itself plus her outside couch to read a book and chairs to watch the surroundings came in very handy. The bed was very comfortable and I slept so sound which is unlike me as I tend to get up during the night. I didn’t get to use the secondary shower outside but it sure was tempting. Next time. Kim is very attentive and truly wants her guests to have everything they need. She was quick to respond and offered up suggestions and things to do. Her attention to detail is really unsurpassed and she is a wealth of knowledge about the region. She is the perfect host. I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 nights at Kym’s place and look forward to staying there again. Venancio Figueroa III Dallas, TX

Enchanting Desert Retreat in Big Bend

LottieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Our stay was restful, private, secluded and restorative. We appreciated it being off the beaten path. My best friend and I are lucky to have landed on the perfect place to stay during our trip to Big Bend. The windows by the bed had us star-gazing our way to sleep. We even preferred our outhouse "back home" to most restroom options at the National park. If you plan on staying at Blue Moon, be mindful that the palm tree by the camper has 3 bird's nests; so don't be alarmed by them or alarm them at night :)

Mariana’s place is both pleasant and quiet. The RV can be found in a convenient central location near the main road. There is a gas station nearby, and a small market situated across the street. This location does not offer a private setting if you are looking for one. Mariana was an accommodating host and very helpful.

Our 3-night RV getaway was perfect! The RV itself was surprisingly spacious and comfortable, providing a cozy base after our days of exploring. We truly appreciated how responsive the host was to any questions we had. The biggest highlight, however, was the unbeatable location: so close to Big Bend National Park, which made early morning starts and late returns incredibly easy. Plus, having a grocery store literally across the street was a huge bonus for stockin.
