Idyllic cottage for yourself in Giethoorn

This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest houses along the path are located here. No crowds of tourists. (They’re in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquility and the beauty of the old village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

Holiday home on the water, with jetty

Water-rich Friesland at its best. In the heart of Friesland lies Terherne, on the Snekermeer. In the morning, breakfast on the terrace on the water. Then go to the Snekermeer by sloop or sailboat (Plenty for rent in the village). After a day of water fun, a BBQ and at home, casting out a fishing rod. The next day, discovering the Kameleon village or going out in Friesland is an option. This is just a selection of the many possibilities that our child-friendly place offers for a weekend, midweek vacation.

Loft en Mar is een unieke zeer ruime woning (200m2) die met liefde voor de natuur, design en rust is ingericht. Het huis is geschikt voor families en groepen tot 10 personen die willen genieten van de rust en schoonheid van Friesland. In de open leefkeuken kijk je uit over het weidse Friese landschap en vanaf het terras op het meer van Terherne. Het huis beschikt over 4 ruime slaapkamers en bedstede voor 2 personen, 2 badkamers en 2 keukens. Bij Loft en Mar vind je rust en ruimte, lucht en meer!

Historical bakery in Wergea close to Leeuwarden

De historische bakkerij uit 1663 in Wergea ligt 15 minuten met de auto van het centrum van Leeuwarden. Het huis is volledig gerestaureerd en van alle comfort voorzien. De inrichting is een combinatie van warme kleuren, materialen, moderne en klassieke meubelen, met veel woonaccessoires. Het wordt vaak vergeleken met een Charles Dickens sfeer. Omdat het huis midden in Fryslân ligt is het perfect voor uitstapjes, naast lekker uitrusten en genieten. Maar natuurlijk ook heerlijk naar Leeuwarden.

In this luxurious spacious home, you will experience rural life at its best! With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

This bustling water sports village has many amenities for a relaxing stay (including supermarket, restaurants). Our lovely 5-person vacation home (Sinneskyn) is located in a natural setting with a private dock. With a berth for guests. A garden with plenty of privacy and several patios. The house is very suitable for families with children. In the backyard 🪵 🔥 hot tub (with bubbles & jets). This can be booked at an additional cost of €99,- per rental period (one week or less).

Everything is within easy reach from this centrally located space. This spacious, detached upstairs apartment has a sheltered roof terrace and a living room with lots of windows that offer views of the famous Oldehove and the green, water-rich Prinsentuin. The spacious kitchen has all the facilities to prepare a delicious meal. The house has 3 bedrooms, a crib and high chair, 3 toilets, 2 bathrooms. A free parking space outside and a separate indoor garage to be booked.

A place to arrive and unwind: Renovated in 2020, the house is quietly situated in a water-surrounded residential complex in Friesland. On 88 m², you’ll find a fireplace, sauna, outdoor shower, and a spacious garden with a lounge. Equipped with solar panels, it offers sustainable comfort for families or couples seeking nature, light, and relaxation—whether for peaceful days by the water, active outdoor moments, or cozy evenings by the fireplace, all year round.

Nice house on the Boarne, near the Frisian lakes

Our house is a small but very nice house. From the jetty, you can board the boat and sail towards the Frisian lakes. The house is very quiet and is equipped with every comfort. You can stay comfortably with 4 people at the Wjitteringswei. The beds are wonderful. They are now set up as a double bed but can also be set up as 4 single beds. Wi-Fi is of course also available. And above all, a fantastic view. Check-in from 3 p.m. and check-out until 12 p.m.

The Carriage House near Leeuwarden

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Do you want to stay in a quiet environment where nature plays the main role then this apartment is for you. We, Ate and Gerda are owners since 2016 and have made our farm in Jelsum completely sustainable.

't Veenhuys - for 4, with Jacuzzi and view

At 't Veenhuys, you can watch the stars in one of the darkest spots in the Netherlands and unwind with views of pure nature - if you want from a 5-person Jacuzzi. Welcome to the friendly Fryslân! This nature house is nicely decorated and has a ceiling of oak beams. It has beds from Van Der Valk and a huge glass front, which means that you can enjoy the ultimate here.

Cozy cottage in the center and on the water in Sneek

This uniquely located 1908 workers' cottage is located in the back of the historic central station of Sneek. You can walk to the supermarket within 1 minute and within 5 minutes to the center of Sneek with cozy terraces, shops and restaurants. When you check in, you can pick up a key to the house from the key box at the bottom left by the front door, and the entire home will be at your disposal!
