Wonderful stay in a quiet area. However, supermarkets and the city center of Papenburg are at a distance. Distance is easy to do, but for me a bit awkward on the bike. Andreas is an incredibly nice and welcoming host! Also responded quickly to questions. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

As we entered the house we could see that the place was equipped with more than everything we needed plus a little note from our sweet and accommodating host. Also it was very clean and tidy. The Lovely vintage furnishings and color pallet combined takes you a step back in time and gives a cozy relaxed vibe. The bathtub was very nice and spacious. The garden is beautiful, unique and dynamic with lots of cool little spaces to discover and chill. The pictures don't do the place justice, you'll get plenty more than what you pay for. We would definitely recommend this accommodation!

After a warm welcome and personal tour, the key was received. You can have a nice homemade cup of coffee that you are ready after a 3-hour drive. How wonderfully quiet it is and we slept well. Also enjoyed the garden on the beautiful terrace with flowering chestnut trees, canyons and strawberries in the making. The two nights were quickly over. Nice a dining table to sit at and a kitchen to work in. For someone with walking disabilities less suitable due to the various small height differences in the floor.

We were there over Easter with 5 people and the place was perfect. There was really everything you needed, the kitchen was very well equipped + barbecue. You feel very comfortable and can really switch off, comfortable sofa and beautiful view of the lake. The size of the place is great if you want to leave with the family for a few days. And there were 2 bathrooms which was very convenient.
