The 100-year-old old private house was renovated to create a comfortable and pleasant space while retaining its old-fashioned atmosphere. The interior is furnished with vintage furniture mainly from Scandinavia. Quiet location surrounded by fields and satoyama. Enjoy the leisurely flow of time in a modern old private home! Our place is ideal for travelers who enjoy a slower pace — strolling through town, discovering small spots, and soaking in daily life. We’re about 25 minutes on foot from the station, in a quiet area with shops and restaurants nearby. Free parking is right in front. Many come to Nakatsugawa for the Nakasendo hike, but there’s beauty in quiet, everyday moments too.

Stay in a renovated 82㎡ Japanese wooden house near Tsumago-juku on the Nakasendo Trail, just 1 min from Nagiso Station. Ideal for hikers, it offers a bedroom, Wi-Fi, kitchen, theaterroom and bathroom. Walk 50 min (3km) to Tsumago-juku or hike 3 hours to Magome-juku. Enjoy Kiso River and mountain views. Near a bridge, park, supermarket (3 min), and convenience store (7 min). Notes: No smoking/pets. Train/car noise due to station proximity. Cold in winter, insects in summer.

A 130-year-old Japanese farmhouse, restored by the host, is now a private retreat. Traditional beams, tatami rooms, an irori hearth and wood stove offer an authentic yet comfortable stay. From the windows, the Central Alps and peaceful countryside unfold, and at night the sky glitters with stars. Try the fire-heated goemon bath, cook in the kitchen or over the hearth, and pick seasonal vegetables from the garden. A place to slow down, breathe deeply, and simply be.

Vacilando : Rustic rental cottage with Mt. Fuji

check-in 10am~24am check-out 14pm I want you take calm time with your loved ones in the cozy house. There is no other place other than this cottage where you can see such a powerful view of Mt. Fuji. *It's very suburb, and there is no taxi and Uber is unavailable, so you need a car to come and sightseen.(You need an international driver license to rent a car in Japan) There are livestock farms around the house. Sometimes smells like a barn for cows.
