It is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. It was close enough to everything we wanted to do while still maintaining privacy and a beautiful view. Check-in to check out instructions were clear and easy to follow and made the whole process stress free.

We had an amazing time in Colorado. The location of this cabin was absolutely perfect. My kids jumped in the creek within 10 mins of arriving and we had a doe at our front steps the first evening. The beds were very comfortable and the two large smart TVs gave the kids and the adults separate entertainment areas. WIFI was fast and reliable, I used it for a couple of video calls for work. We traveled to the cavern of the winds, Indian cliff dwellings, pikes peak, the zoo and garden of the gods with ease. These places were all close. We took one long drive out to the train on Royal Gorge, and it was worth it. There were hiking trails available just outside the front door and others that were a short drive away. Following Tims advice, we ventured into the little town a few mins away driving or a just a 20 min walk. Coffee shop there is excellent, dinner at the mucky duck was great, and if you want a nice pizza and some alcohol the blue moose tavern is fun. The locals were great with us, just don’t park right in front of the blue moose as they seem to reserve that “loading spot” for locals. The little town center has a lake, shopping and it’s own hiking trails. Just up the road towards Hwy 24 there is a taco place called the Skinny Taco. Vincent makes some really nice fresh food. Get some of that bourbon pecan at the coffee shop and use Tims Coffee maker for a morning break on the wrap around patio. There was another tenant in a separate section, but we did not hear them. On the evening that we jumped in the Jacuzzi, no one else was there. We loved it and will try to come back again next year.

Beautiful location for staring at a picturesque mountain and a 5 minute walk to a bar and grill. Jacuzzi was fantastic and the room was cozy. Loved it!

Amazing stay! Visited to celebrate my mother’s retirement, no better place to do that than here. Close to Woodland which had many restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The home was cozy, clean & the scenery was absolutely beautiful. Bonus: we woke up one morning with deer in our backyard!!

We will, most likely, be coming back. We loved our time at this location. Almost everything was wonderful. The only two things that could be improved upon are the snow removal in the driveway, steps and deck as well as having more towels. There were only three towels for multiple guests and multiple nights. It was a bummer to have to shovel off the steps just to get to the door, and even then, there was still ice that made it a little scary each time we passed. However, literally everything else was superb, charming, homey and completely wonderful. Thank you for accepting our fam into your family home. We would love to come back again sometime.

The home has tons of beds, almost two kitchens (full size fridge & microwave downstairs). Sofas and sofas and more sofas. Julia has more kids books then all our Grandbabies put together. The beds were so comfortable, the views incredible. Julia was absolutely wonderful to work with even with all the mess and disaster AirBNB put us through she was fantastic! I can’t recommend her enough!

If you want to get away from it all, this is your place!!!! so peaceful and natural. no wifi. no cell phone. just like camping but with a nice bed, shower, and kitchen!!! host is SUPer responsive

We definitely had a great stay and would definitely stay here again. We were able to book the stay the night before, and he even reached out to us in the morning. Lots of space in the home. There are so many fun activities for a family nearby (within a 40 minute drive). We were busy all day, every day. Lots of nature and historical sites.

Such a cozy place! Had everything we needed for our few days in colorado springs! Was so relaxing to come back after a long day of adventuring! Very comfortable bed & loved having the amenities to make our own food while here! Highly recommend this place if spending a few days in colorado springs! Super close distance to many popular attractions we enjoyed! Will stay again!

AMAZING lace and so peaceful! Views were phenomenal ❤️ lots of hiking within an hour of the cabin. Driveway was a KILLER to walk up and down to get to the lake but that was our choice! Will definitely be back! Thank you so much for this long weekend getaway!

This place was so beautiful honestly no pictures could do it justice. We loved how peaceful the area is. Carolyn was an amazing host who was helpful from the time we booked until we arrived. I would not only recommend this place but hope to return someday. Trust me you will not be disappointed.

High Haven was a quiet, clean, and comfortable cabin in the mountains. There was good parking at the base of the 28 steps up to the front door. The 8000 ft elevation was 10 degrees cooler than Manitou Springs a few miles away which made sitting on the near wrap-around porch very relaxing looking at the nearby canyon and ridges. In addition, a movable box fan and ceiling fan in the main room moved air, as well as there was a good cross draft when the windows and sliding glass door where open. These features were important because the temps were in the low-high 90's in Manitou Springs in late July. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for making meals. There is an electric BBQ locked under the deck that we used for brats and chicken. The Wifi and TV worked fine and the Roku gave access to many streaming services you can log into with your credentials. David was easily reached and responsive when we had a question. We strongly recommend High Haven.

The guest house is very private and peaceful. Stocked kitchen for breakfast, lots of space and natural lighting throughout. Clean and stocked bathroom and in case you need anything there is a Walmart 5 minutes away. The guest book was very informative and had a bunch of great recommendations on trails, food, entertainment and all kinds of fun stuff. Great stay!

The location, views and home are awesome! We’ve stayed at the home during both the summer and fall and it is always beautiful. Perry and his wife are excellent hosts!
