Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Tecumseh

It is so calming to be near water and that is just what we wanted - a place to unwind. The view is exactly like the pictures. We appreciated that Henry and April responded quickly and were very attentive.

Amazing children friendly home. Traveling with kids is always hectic, but this home made it feel 100 times easier.

We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend at Alice’s lovely cottage. It is very clean and well appointed with everything we needed to make all our meals. The lake views from the back yard are pretty and tranquil. We had a fire our first evening there and enjoyed a nice lightening show over the lake later in the night. We would not hesitate to recommend Alice’s cottage. We would definitely stay here again.

We were there on a fishing vacation and it is very close to everything we needed or wanted to do. Very nice clean house. We are planning on staying there again.

This airbnb is top notch. So comfortable. So close to everything and yet tucked away, private and practically a nature reserve. My pup and I enjoyed mornings lounging by the river, walks on all the nearby trails, the fire pit. There are all kinds of birds including blue herons in the area…we had the most surreal encounter with a fawn on one of our walks. Truly magical place. Home is very comfortable. Hosts are next door and very helpful/responsive and also respectful of privacy. Highly recommend.

Nick is a great host. We had a crazy late check in, and he didn’t sign off until he knew we were squared away (2:00 am). The location is nice and close to everything you want to do in downtown, but kinda tucked away and quiet. We would definitely stay at Nick’s again.

Monica is an exceptional host – she left very thorough instructions, followed up with us consistently, and had a magical space that made us feel right at home. The bathroom and bath tub were incredible! The neighborhood is unique with lots of DIY parks and urban agriculture – lots of friendly neighbors who were open and welcoming to sharing the history of the area and their dedication to maintaining it. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back again! Detroit is an awesome city, and this is a great location to experience the best it has to offer!

Home was very cozy and comfortable. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Very close driving distance to Detroit which was very nice. Would definitely recommend.

Great stay, matches the pictures and very private

The place was fantastic. Her directions with pictures made it really easy to find. Check-in was super easy. The place was extremely clean and well stocked. And very quiet. She was extremely responsive. Check out was a breeze. Didn’t make the guest do tons of cleaning. Can’t wait to stay there again soon. was absolutely perfect.

Karen was incredible. It was the perfect place to stay. She was beyond accommodating and it is an adorable room with kitchen and bathroom. She went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. I highly recommend and will always stay here in the future!

This was such a special stay and I can't say enough positive things about Jerald's boathouse on the canal. I only had one night there and hated to leave. The photos don't do the space justice, with so many thoughtful touches, tremendous design, and deliciously comfortable furniture. I arrived to a family of geese with little geeselings swimming by and woke up to the sunrise over the water. I loved the quiet community of the canal, with a few boats quietly cruising by, and just wish I'd had time to take the canals out for a treat. Jerald was so helpful with check in and local recommendations. I loved everything about this beautiful little retreat!

Stephanie and Dana's place is great and they answered all of my questions whenever I had concerns. the place is clean and has a fully stocked pantry and kitchen, we enjoyed the pool and rec centre very much. the resort is quiet and clean, the staff and residents are friendly and helpful, unlike other camp grounds that we have been that people were rowdy and loud until midnight. we had a great time relaxing and have fun in Stephanie and Dana's place and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Enjoyed our stay very clean a lot of necessities for us more than expected you really don’t need to bring anything but food they had everything you could think of there to use for cooking supplies… was also was very easy to find and the neighbors around us were nice also would definitely recommend…

To say we enjoyed our stay is an understatement! The cottage is so much larger and even more comfy than I anticipated! The space has two eating areas inside, as well as a large picnic table, Tiki Hut, expansive dock, and fire pit right outside your door. The space was very clean and had everything we needed for cooking and enjoying our stay. There are so many interesting books, games, and treasures to explore, such a unique space is hard to capture in photographs, but I think that is part of the magic. Coffee and tea on the dock in the morning was very peaceful and we have incredible memories of watching the many species of birds nesting in a protected migratory area right on the banks of the river just before sunset. We eat the freshest corn we have ever tasted, gifted to us by Maryann as well as many other small gifts that made the stay so chill and comfortable. Maryann and Brad are super friendly but also very respectful of your privacy. The perfect hosts and really good people.
