Beautiful and tranquil spot near San Pedro. The views of the lake were stunning, and the atmosphere was peaceful—great for relaxing. A bit removed from the bustle, but still easy to get into town. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway.

A very nice cabin to relax, comfortable and excellent service.

Everything about La Casa de Oxkan exceeded our expectations. It was close enough to the action that it was easy to get to and from, but private enough that the lively nature of San Pedro was never intrusive. The home is beautiful in every aspect, and Magdalena was one of the most attentive and responsive hosts I’ve ever stayed with. Not if, but when I return to San Pedro, I will absolutely stay here again.

Very beautiful place. There is too calm, quite forest and the weather quite cool. It's too relaxing and a nice place to go as a couple.

The accommodation is as described. Food, safe, clean, with parking, fluid communication with staff. The place is nice and there are restaurants in the area, you can also cook in the cabin there is everything you need. Important that the final lapse at the destination is terracería and a small and low cart may have inconveniences, especially in the rainy season.

I really liked that the cabin was also 5 minutes from San Pedro, as we were able to visit both towns and walk around easily. There are always Tuc Tucs available and we didn't have any bad experiences. We took public boats to go to Santiago and Pana, everything went very well.

The view was breathtaking, and the cabin was warm and inviting. Staying at Cerro de Oro was a truly special experience. I was captivated by the constant melodies of the birds and the stunning rocks that decorated the surroundings. It's such a wonderful place to unwind and connect with nature. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

fuego atitlán is an AMAZING place to stay. I stayed in the loft and it's clean, cozy, and spacious. The shared kitchen is immaculate and very well equipped, and probably has the best view I've ever cooked with. Camille was extremely kind and helpful while I stayed, as well as the rest of the staff. the place itself is about a 15 minute walk from downtown San Marcos. it has a bit of a steep stretch but very much worth it and I personally got used to it very quickly. would love to come back!

Sarah’s place is exactly as pictured- situated in a serene area overlooking Lake Atitlán with all the amenities you could need whether you want to stay or travel around the lake. The property itself is gorgeous and well taken care of. I particularly loved the multiple balconies and is where we spent most of our time. When we decided to visit other towns on the lake we had no problems using the private dock to and from our destination. Sarah, Byron, and Pascual were extremely helpful, quick to respond, and took care of us our entire stay. Absolutely loved the place and would be back!

The place is very nice, everything as described, but the best thing is Marian's service, very attentive and you can tell she wants your experience to be good. Highly recommended.

The cabin was beautiful, and we had no trouble getting there or finding it. Although it was somewhat difficult to get hot water out of the shower, we would return without any reservations.

Such a beautiful home with an amazing view of the lake/volcanoes. Extremely clean, cosy and comfortable. As Tina has stated, it is in a remote location but follow the instructions given and you will be fine! The Tzununa dock is only a 10 minute walk away but tuktuks are also available there if you have a lot of bags. Tina provides thorough guides of Lake Atitlan and even prints them for the house so there are easily accessible! You are definitely at one with nature (lots of harmless spiders and we had a scorpion!) but we embraced it. Thanks for everything!

We are a family of 4 (1 currently living in Guatemala) and we absolutely loved this home. Note that it is a family home passed down through generations and is a bit rustic, and requires visitors to be mindful. Some features such as the windows need to be treated with care. The grounds are extraordinary and walkable. The guardian Juan José was available to help if we needed anything including shopping for our BBQ. He lit an outdoor fire and we relaxed under the stars. We made use of paddle boards and kyack. I can't say enough about how helpful Joaquin was before during and after our stay. Thank you thank you

Excellent stay, it is one of the best houses on the shore of the lake that we have visited with my friends. We'll definitely be back. 🙌🙌
