We really enjoyed our stay. The view was so beautiful and could be seen from all parts of the house. We were there for a training wānanga but couldn't stop staring at the view. Steps down to the beach, which was really handy. Lot's of outdoor space. Comfortable place for a group, 2 bathrooms was really handy. House came equipped with everything you might need. My son absolutely loved the room upstairs with it's on sink, sofa, desk and deck. Would recommend for groups of 4 singles or couples.

Unforgettable Stay at Cable Bay! My husband and I had such an incredible time at this beachfront Airbnb that we ended up extending our trip—honestly, we just didn’t want to leave so we extended our stay and extra day! The property offers stunning views of the ocean and provides direct access to the best beach in the area. Rosemary and Brian were fantastic hosts from the moment we arrived, greeting us warmly and ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Their thoughtful recommendations on local dining spots and nearby attractions really enhanced our experience. The location is perfect—there’s a fantastic fishery and a charming dairy just around the corner, so everything you could need is within easy reach. We truly had an unforgettable time and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this hidden gem at Cable Bay!

It's a little hard to find, but once you get there you are rewarded with an amazing place to stay. Super chill beachy vibe with great outdoor area and fantastic view.

Lisas place at Coopers Beach was a wonderful find. North facing with stunning views along the beach and out to sea with and all day sun. Lovely to sit on the Deck and enjoy the view or lie in bed at night listening to the waves gently lapping the shore. Highly recommend.

I wanted a place that was quirky and this was it The caravan bedroom was very comfortable Kitchen and bathroom had everything I needed Having the yard fenced was great for my furbaby although she did like playing with the resident Labs!!! Loved walking along the beach watching the Kite surfers We didn't need to leave the property Having Netflix available was a treat as weather was very unpredictable!! Would love to return in summer!! A 5 star host!!!

Lovely, clean and tidy holiday spot. Perfect for our family of five as a base for travels in Northland and a restful place to retreat to. A short stroll to beautiful Coopers Beach.

We had a great experience at this venue! Initially, I was a bit hesitant about its proximity to the road, but it turned out to be surprisingly private. The modern setup was fantastic, and the atmosphere was incredibly relaxing. Jon was excellent to communicate with, he knew exactly when to check in and when to give us space. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a stylish yet peaceful getaway!

Anny is a fantastic host and has set the bar high for any other Airbnb we will stay at from now on! We were very lucky to find The Shed House and book it at the discounted price. The Shed House is beautiful and clean - looks exactly like the photos Anny has provided. The Shed House is well insulated, warm and has great windows and doors that open all around the home. Absolutely love how organised Anny is as a Host, everything and more is provided. There is a very helpful information booklet provided and sooo many extras that Anny has available to use. We ended up having two sick kids during our stay and Anny was so responsive and helpful. Even though we had sick kids and the weather was a bit wet, we loved our stay at The Shed House.

Absolute sanctuary with worldclass surf just down the road and a beautiful beach directly opposite. Can see spectacular sunsets from the lounge. And had a brand new weber bbq which my partner loved. Also had homemade muesli when you arrive. Lianne is just lovely, non intrusive and went above and beyond to make our stay magical. We can’t wait to return.

We loved staying at Mariannes place - even with the passing of cyclone Tam, with storms and torrential rains for two days. Nice and quite location central to the Kauri coast.
