Peaceful stay right in the trees! This was such an epic Airbnb - so cozy and homey while also being very well equipped with everything you need. Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and the spa was such a bonus. Stayed 3 nights here and wish I could have stayed longer - would definitely stay again if in the area. Mark was very kinda and quick to respond.

What a stunning location., located straight next to one of the best urban walkways in the country. Hosts were great so friendly loved Lou the dog she was so lovely too. the views keep you entertained for the whole.time, no TV was needed at all we will definitely be back

Such a relaxing stay. Hot tub was a perfect place to unwind and watch the stars. Very peaceful and private! The place has very thing you need for a comfortable and cozy stay. Would recommend to anyone! We are excited to visit again :)

Absolutely amazing stay at the lodge. The home was tidy, homely and peaceful. Loved having a spa and watching the cattle . The hosts were amazing with communication and going that little bit extra to make sure we felt right at home! Recommend this place a high 10/10 from us we will be back !

Great wee Bach. Clean and tidy with everything we needed. Nice outdoor areas. Kai Iwi beach fantastic to explore. Lots to do in Whanganui. Enjoyed our stay. Hope to come back and enjoy beach in summer.

Gayle's place is beautiful and secluded. Great private deck to relax and enjoy Harbour view. A short drive to Tutukaka marina which was convenient for our diving trip. We had one small problem with hot water and Gayle resolved it super quickly after messaging her. A great host, and very responsive with messages.

The house provided us a peaceful retreat from the city. Our family and friends enjoyed a pleasant stay from Paul’s lovely house! Highly recommended :)

The cottage was packed with character, you could imagine the fun families had there in the past. It was decorated to celebrate the history of the cottage and the area. The beds were comfortable, great laundry and bathroom. A wonderful social area. If you like a typical bach to stay in, this is perfect. Jo-Ann greeted us when we arrived and was very helpful. We will be back.

Crabtree Cottage is a beautiful haven. Peaceful with a lovely sense of style with comfy leather sofa and armchairs to curl up in with a book. Whilst it was still (just) into Autumn we enjoyed the fire and warm welcoming space. Great shower pressure and heated towel rail. The bed is super comfy with lively fresh crisp sheets and pillows. Love the decor and look and feel of the cottage. The garden is a delight. We picked 2 figs and lemons straight from the back yard to enjoy we cheese platter and tisane and wondered through the front garden to get ideas for our own garden. Wish I’d brought my watercolours. The Red Barn was an absolute gem! Sue was a wonderful host - responsive, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The barn itself is beautifully renovated with all the comforts you could need, while still maintaining its rustic charm. The property is peaceful and well-maintained. Sue provided excellent directions and check-in instructions, and was always quick to respond to any questions. The beds comfortable, and the entire place was spotlessly clean. The rural setting offers a tranquil escape but is still conveniently located for exploring the region. Highly recommend the Red Barn for anyone looking for a relaxing countryside retreat.​​​​​​​

This unit is set in vineyards with views across to the Tararuas. Very quiet and peaceful location. Ideal for self-catering with a well equipped kitchen. We stayed for over a week and appreciated Jo giving the unit a full service half way through. We enjoyed a wine tasting with David. A lovely cozy and warm unit to stay in. We would happily stay here again.

Highly recommend. Views are awesome. The home was spotless clean. I have traveled and have always wanted to see the milky way and been disappointed. I saw it our 1st night which was clear. We had a pair of binoculars as well and it was amazing

We loved DDOG - our 6 year old daughter was thrilled to see the trampoline outside on the yard when we pulled in and my husband and I have never seen such a beautiful sunrise over the vinyards. And everything in between just splended. Highly recommend checking this place out and doing a bike around the wineries as well!!

This venue holds so many special memories for us. Even with the not-so-great weather over the long weekend, it was still the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy time with our loved ones. Huge thanks to Christina and David for sharing such a beautiful place!

My fiancé and I had a really good time celebrating her birthday here. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Taupō with a beautiful view.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The location is stunning and the Bach is absolutely adorable. Very spacious, space to eat inside and outside. Definitely a 10/10 and we would not hesitate to stay here again.
