Was such an amazing place to stay. Was helpful, informative and responsive. Beautiful surroundings, and peaceful. Would highly recommend it for anyone looking jusy for a getaway.

We were looking for a place to stay overnight after attending a family funeral in Napier, and finding an Airbnb close to the highway south of Napier isn't easy. So we were delighted to find The Phoenix on Millar in the village of Otane. Not only is it conveniently situated but is a cosy haven on a cold wet night. Good heating and a warm, comfortable bed. It also has a well equipped kitchen, and under cover parking is a bonus. We did have a little trouble finding the gate in the dark but that was a very minor problem. I'm sure that Carolina's place would be equally delightful in the summer especially with the tiny leafy courtyard off the bedroom just beckoning for a morning coffee or quiet read . would definitely recommend 🙂

We had a great stay at Juanita's place. The cottage and location was very quiet which was really great. The cottage was cozy, clean and welcoming. I would recommend staying here if you are in Waipawa. It was very close (about a 5-10 minute drive) to the venue where our daughters were dancing.

We had an amazing stay at Sue’s place! Both my wife Athira and I absolutely loved it – the peaceful surroundings, the lovely garden full of roses, and especially the adorable pets like goats and ponies made it a perfect getaway. The breakfast was really good, and we truly appreciated the delicious chocolate cookies she had kept inside the cottage. Thank you, Sue, for being such a thoughtful and welcoming host.
