Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Taupo District

Amazing family getaway!!! This is the perfect and private destination for a family vacation. We had such a large group of adults and kids so there were so many amenities and fun sporty things for everyone to do. The quality of the space is great, loved everything about the kitchen, movie room, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, basket ball, table tennis, darts, trampoline and spacious gardens! We especially loved the spa :) thanks again!

Lovely home and great hosts - it was just what we were looking for during our time in Kinloch. Hosts were very quick to respond to any questions we had and super thoughtful with how the house was set-up before we arrived and with what they made available. Would definitely recommend the hosts and the property.

Great stay for large groups. Exceptionally comfy beds and linen, surprisingly good sound insulation - each member of the family could have a quiet time sleeping not hearing kids running and jumping around the house. Loved house layout and warmth. John was super responsive and helpful either absolutely everything! Recommending this stay!

Loved the homeliness of this place, was comfortable and cosy. Particularly loved the environment, quiet and peaceful and close to the lake and river walks.

I was a last-minute returning guest at this beautiful Kiwi bach, and once again, it exceeded expectations. The host was incredibly accommodating, even on short notice, and made the whole process seamless. The home is just as stunning as I remembered—peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully prepared for a comfortable stay. it was the perfect escape to relax and recharge whilst I was away on business. It’s rare to find a place that feels so welcoming and consistent, especially when booking last-minute. I’m so grateful I was able to return and will absolutely be back again. Very comfortable and beautiful home in a safe spot close to town. Had everything I need for a very comfortable stay.

We loved this place. Great living area for socialising, well equipped kitchen, showers had awesome water pressure, several lovely areas to sit outdoors. Perfect for our family get together with some of us staying onsite and others in the town centre. And later some items we'd left behind were returned to us which we were grateful for.

The host was amazing and really responsive. Allowed us to checkin earlier as we reached earlier than expected. It was such a smooth checkin and communication was great. Place was big enough to accommodate our party of 10 adults and 5 kids. Kids loved having their own space to play upstairs as well as in the garage. Adults enjoyed the fireplace a lot. Really warm house.

The communication from the start has been great. We have a baby and they allowed us a late check out just to help us out. They were easy to contact and communicate with. The place itself is beautiful especially with the river flowing. Everything we needed was there. The outdoor bbq is a nice feature to have. Overall very happy with this place and enjoyed our time there. Would come back and stay there again.

We stayed for almost a week as a family of four. This is one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. The Pods were immaculate, exactly as described. The location is fantastic, the view is incredible, there is lots to see and do, and it is very peaceful. We jumped off the rock, went to the squeeze and the baths and stopped in for coffee at Orakei Korako. All magical locations. A short kayak to Paradise Hot Spring a hidden gem. Sherrie & Mark are wonderful hosts, and we will definitely be back.

We loved our stay. Great place for extended whanau holiday, plenty of space to accomodate. Many amenities and felt like being at home with anything you could need and more. Serena's soaps were beautiful and such a lovely additional treat Nga mihi nui

looking for peace & to switch off from the pressures of city life for a night or two then this is the place for you, Fantastic scenery, private & the option of 3 different rooms. you can hire all 3 and it would be an awesome get away for family or a group of friends. One of the rooms has its own bathroom and the other two shared facilities which were only a couple of meters away in the stockyard shed.All clean safe and great hot shower too! We had the best sleep ever! It is off the grid but the solar power was more than enough for basic power, lighting,charging devices etc.Cell phone reception is patchy but a few steps up to the barn and you well connected to the world again. (also being semi disconnected added to the charm of the place.) Bring all your own food & drinks + maybe a board game or 2 and really just enjoy the awesome spot without having to venture into town &relax. bonus is the use of a private boat ramp, we had our 2 jetskis and had an amazing time exporting the lake

A lovely quiet retreat.

Was a very neat little cabin with a picturesque front yard 🥰 Every thing was clean and tidy on arrival and the heat pump worked wonders for the chilly nights! Communication to the host was quick. Had a little issue with the lockbox changing code but was quickly rectified. We were easily able to use the cabin as a base for our weekend adventures at the racetrack. Was lovely staying here and would definately recommend. Unfortunately didnt have long enough time to spend otherwise me and my partner would've stayed another night. We hope we have been good tenants through the duration of our stay ☺️ Thank you for hosting us 🤍

Very friendly, kind hosts. Thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor hot pool and peaceful surroundings. Enjoyed our stay immensely!
