Lovely peaceful comfortable place to stay with the bonus of a wood fire and a sauna to enjoy. Has great views with a private rocky cove directly at the bottom of the garden and an easy coastal walk to the beautiful redbill beach and diamond island point. All in all really hard leave.

My wife and I had a lovely time at Karen's place. The location is amazingly beautiful it was always a delight to watch the sun rise with the foreground of the cute farm animals! The house was super cosy and had everything we needed and more, wish we could have stayed longer! Coming home to a bustling fire after a big day of adventure in the cold was also a real treat! The pictures and description don’t do this place justice! This place was simply perfect. An idyllic haven, the freshest air, skies full of stars, and the most clean, cozy and toasty cottage you could ever imagine. Alison was the most wonderful host - she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted and needed, and she brought us to meet and feed all her lovely pet sheep, cows and dog. We had an amazing time here, thank you Alison!

Perfection. Attention to detail- even in the kitchen…we had all the dishes and utensils necessary to cook like a chef at the house! There are even pantry items there- so check on that before running to the grocery store in town because we bought doubles in some things. I’m sure the selections in the pantry will vary. In addition, there may be garden produce ready for the picking!! Make sure and check with the host first- that will be seasonal, I’m sure. Beds are comfortable, showers have hot water, tub with jets is helpful after a day of sight-seeing. As owner notes, it isn’t hot, just warm…but it was still a good experience. Decks overlook bay/ocean- you get to witness the changing colors of the Hazards throughout the day standing over the bay. And if you are wondering- we saw amazing Aurora lights out over the water! Windows everywhere! Just incredible’views- there are no words. And you boy minutes from Swansea. Host has a book with restaurant suggestions. Grocery.❤️

As a visitor from Canada, I felt right at home at this beautiful property that offered the perfect blend of comfort, nature, and genuine Aussie hospitality. The lifestyle here felt familiar, yet uniquely special. Waking up to morning visits from wallabies right outside our window was such a magical touch — a true Australian experience! We also enjoyed watching the birds and friendly farm animals, which made each day feel peaceful and connected to nature. The cabin was warm and cozy, especially during the winter season, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. It really had that homey feel, which meant so much to me and my child during a challenging time for our family. Location-wise, everything was close and convenient. We had easy access to the beach and a lovely playground, which made for perfect morning and afternoon walks. It’s a great spot for families, and I felt very safe and relaxed the entire time. A quaint farmhouse style cottage very comfortable and stocked with everything you need, Linda even provided games and toys for children. Very peaceful and homely and is highly recommended for a short or long stay. Our only regret was that our stay was too short.

Lani and Noel are extremely warm and welcoming hosts and went out of their way to make us and our kids feel at home. We arrived at night time but Lani’s directions were very clear and we had no trouble finding the place. The cottage is warm and cosy due to double glazing and we loved that it was off grid. The view from the verandah is stunning and the location was brilliant as a launch pad for our Tasmanian adventure - close to the airport, Richmond and Hobart. We would definitely recommend this air bnb!

Lovely stay at Shane and Monika's place. we quickly warmed up out of the winter Tassie cold by the log fire, which was set up ready for us to light on arrival. In the morning we were gifted some food for the sheep and alpaca, and we're followed around by Munchkin the sheep for the rest of our stay. Monika was very kind and welcoming, even gifting us wine, bread, coffee and fruit. Couldn't have found a more peaceful and relaxing place to stay - thank you!

What a beautiful pod and surroundings. To wake up in the morning and to be able to let the outside in was breath taking. Great experience and lovely host :)

We had a wonderful 3 nights at the Tiny Hideaway - it may be compact but is so functional, warm and cosy that we could easily have stayed for longer. We appreciated the extra touches like locally made crockery, real coffee machine, bath robes and the amazing outdoor bath, as well as the fantastic deck and outlook over the property and towards Richmond. A perfect base from which to visit the local wineries or to just relax in the bath and admire the view!

Angela was quite communicative and proactive. Loved the aesthetics and the barn, hope to be back again when in Tassie.

Wonderful quiet location away from busy roads that suited our trip perfectly. Beautifully presented unit, with great bathroom and excellent hot water pressure. Comfy warm bed too. Host gave us complete privacy, but was there when needed and very friendly. Will definitely be back.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The place is charming and cozy, and feeding the goats and sheep was an added bonus. The kids really adore this spot. The night sky is filled with stars, making it perfect for stargazing—just step outside the house to take in the view!

Bianca’s place was even better than the photos — beautifully set up, cozy, and full of charm. One of the highlights was being able to see cows just outside the house — such a lovely and peaceful touch! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Three Paddocks and a Hill! The cottage was very clean, well appointed with everything you need & full of thoughtful touches that made it the perfect cosy retreat in May. We loved the beautiful views from every direction overlooking the wooded valley and rolling hills. Each afternoon, we enjoyed feeding the cheeky goats apples and carrots that Emma kindly left for us. The location was perfect— right in the Huon Valley, surrounded by artisan producers and just a 10-minute, scenic drive to Cygnet, a charming town with everything you could want. Emma was a fantastic host—friendly, proactive, and responsive. She sent us the most incredible & extensive list of local recommendations. We especially loved visiting Pagan Cider Cellar Door on our way home each afternoon and a meal at Ashcraig Farm Thai is a must—hands down the best meal and such great value. This little retreat was the perfect way to finish up our Tassie trip & we'd highly recommend a stay here!

This place was absolutely amazing! The quirky and thoughtfully designed interior gave it so much character and made it feel really special. Dom had the fire set up and ready before we arrived, so the whole house was warm and inviting from the moment we stepped in. The spa was a real highlight—perfect for relaxing under the stars after a long day. The views from the property were stunning. Every detail felt well-considered, and we genuinely loved our stay.

We love this place! Everything in the house made us feel like home, cozy, well prepared and clean. There are everything we needed especially kitchen stuff. Bonus of this place, Joanna's cats are super friendly, they greet us when we arrived at the place, so adorable 🥰. Feeding Sheep, goat and duck also made us feel more enjoy with this place. Moreover, we managed to see Aurora and milky way.

What a perfect location for anyone wanting to be totally immersed in nature, seclusion, privacy and very special sunrises over the water. The house had everything you'd need and especially cosy and comfortable beds. Would highly recommend this lovely home.

We had a great time. The surroundings were lovely. It gave us a sense of home to look out the window and see the horses moving around in their paddocks. The heavy frosts are just like home too. I can't say enough great things about Lynette and the beautiful home she has created! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable—exactly like the photos, if not better. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged, from the well-stocked kitchen to the cozy linens and towels. The host was outstanding—quick to respond, super friendly, and clearly committed to making guests feel at home. They provided helpful local tips that made our trip even more special. The location was ideal—close to great restaurants, attractions, and easy transportation, but still peaceful and quiet at night.
