My friend and I stayed at Shara’s place for 2 1/2 weeks and it was perfect. The house has a lovely homely feel to it and everything you may need. Shara and Jacob live just opposite and are readily available. There are many fruit trees outside and chickens too, with plentiful fruit and eggs on offer every day for breakfast. Breakfasts were timed to our requirements and were a treat to receive every morning. For a very reasonable price you can ask Shara to cook one of her fantastic meals, we had many with delicious results and good portion sizes. Location was very good for KCMC hospital where I needed to be during the week. The house is in a lovely secluded leafy location but still within easy reach of the main roads. Shara organised our reliable Bajaj driver Patrick for any trips we needed to take and had plenty of information about what to do locally. Bushbaby Cottage is the ideal place if you're looking for peace and quiet after visiting busy Arusha and going on safari. The beautiful garden is perfect for relaxing with a book. You can easily take a walk around the property and spot zebras, elands, and wildebeest. And there are also various activities that can be arranged directly from Bushbaby Cottage. Thank you, Lesley!

Fantastic place, I would highly recommended. The host is warm, responsive and extremely helpful. A lovely way to experience Dar. The house is clean and well maintained & the host was available for a walk through. I enjoyed my stay.
