Vacation rentals with lake access in Tanzania

Een mooi huis met een prachtige tuin, in een rustig dorpje. Half uurtje lopen naar Tengeru/de hoofdweg. Fijne communicatie met Maria ( bedankt voor de flexibiliteit toen onze zoon ziek was). En een erg vriendelijke tuinman.

La maison est dans un beau jardin et la terrasse permet d'admirer la lac Tanganyika. L'intérieur. les chambres, le salon sont spacieux et bien aménagés. La maison est vraiment habitée, décorée, vivante. La cuisine dispose de ce qui est nécessaire. Le centre ville avec les commerces et le marché sont à 10 minutes à pied. Nous avons passés un très bon séjour. Je recommande sans réserve.

Anna is an amazing host. The place is brand new and she tries HARD to make her guests super happy. There are some minor startup issues to solve (the most notable one the location pin in the app being in the wrong location) but that in no way took away from our great stay.

Nice location, close to Arusha and Kilimanjero.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our girls’ getaway! The Little Baobab was serene, super clean, and had this calm vibe that made it hard to leave because we felt so relaxed and taken care of.Loved the little details around the house and how well-kept everything was. Definitely a great pick for a girls’ trip or anyone looking for a beautiful spot to unwind in Dodoma. Highly recommend for small groups and individuals!

Lilian’s place was awesome, a few minutes drive to Rock city mall and with good tarmac roads to the place. She is an amazing host, and was ready to assist. It was a favorite stay in Mwanza Thank you Lilian!

It was a lovely experience staying here. The place was tranquil and quiet. Although I wasn’t well, it was really wholesome to see that there were fresh fruits left for us to have. The house was pristine and located in a truly quiet and magnificent woodland area. Worth it for sure. We also planted a strawberry and papaya tree and that was a memorable experience. :) highly recommended.

Everything with the stay was great. Someone met us in town to take us to the property and they were always around if we needed anything. The rooms were clean and in a beautiful setting in a banana plantation. We did have a miscommunication with the billing but I believe the host was new to Airbnb and the issue was resolved in a good manner. Overall it was a great place to stay.

This listing is perfect! The house is big, the rooms are big and have enough space. The listing is in a great location called Masaki. It’s close to all the amazing places like Wavuvi Kempi and Slipway. The host is so kind and helpful. Always available! This is just the perfect stay when you are in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The air conditioning also works perfectly and the kitchen is great cooking. The listing is also next to the beach and there is a swimming pool downstairs. My only reservation is that it’s a bit expensive. You can pay the same amount and stay at a hotel. The host should make the place more affordable!

Salum's place was very clean and beautiful just as it shows in the pictures. He was quick to respond whenever I had an issue. The check in and check out process was smooth. I highly recommend for singles or couples visiting Mwanza.

The place is really nice,the only issue is the road to get there...it's quite hectic,also Note there's no TV. But very strong WIFI. I totally recommend the place. Great Host.

A tranquil location for a quick break while in town, easily reachable from all areas of the city!

My stay was perfect, the place is neatly and extremely worth exceeding my expectations. I will for sure recommend anyone visiting to choose the Kidyama house. Grace went extra miles on services offered on accommodation and gastronomy (Foods). I will absolutely be back at this location soon.

We had a great stay, were well looked after by the host. Great location if you do business around stonetown. So easy to walk to from the ferry.

Giphon's place is exactly as described. When I checked in, Laeticia (his wife) had made me FRESH orange juice straight from the beautiful orange tree in their garden! Him and his family are very welcoming and gave great recommendations on what to do as a first time visiter in Mwanza. I was travelling solo and both the location and accommodation felt safe, and was close to a lot of great places. I got sick one night and they checked in on me and gave me medication, truly hospitable people. Kitchen amenities were in plentiful and all the appliances worked. I had such a great stay, I will definitely be back!

Forest, nature, a place built by hand with love and wisdom... Two different species of monkeys foraging in the tress above on the same tree as Hornbills.. this place is piece of magic. The perfect spot for meditation, writing, relaxing... letting nature heal you. One of my favorite Airbnb's of all time!

We enjoyed our stay on the leafy foothills at Magdalena’s. Erick, our manager/ chef was always eager to make sure we were fed— he also helped us find the place for the first time, meeting us along the way. It’s a proper home home, and we felt as if we were guests at a friend’s, just missing the friend! Staff were on site to light a fire to roast marshmallows, there was a housekeeper who took care of chores. Nice to have a generator so we didn’t have to stop watching Netflix on TV 🤪. Really good. We would go back to explore the area some more.

Your staff greeted me with such warmth, I felt like I was back home with my family. in fact, I felt like I was family. They made me feel important to them and saw to all my needs from the moment I arrived. I wanted a place that was quiet, remote and this did just that for me. Loved my room that had all the comforts of home: closet with enough hangers, a table, a dresser with a mirror. I just felt so comfortable and was so happy that I chose this location for my Air bnb. There was a microwave in the kitchen that had come in very handy. There was even a nice size refrigerator. I didn't have to ask for extra towels. They were waiting for me in my room. The thing that struck me the most was the staff with their genuine friendly smiles and always asking if there was anything I need. This was by far the best air bnb I have ever stayed at! I got more for the price I paid for than I ever expected. I will visit this wonderful place again and I highly recommend it to others who want the same experience as I had.
