Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Tamarin

Staying at Anne-Christine's Airbnb was a real pleasure. The accommodation matches the photos and description, it is a 5 minute walk to Flic-en-Flac beach and many restaurants or food trucks. It's a perfect place to spend several nights and discover Mauritius. The bedding was of high quality, which is really appreciated after days of hiking. Anne-Christine was really charming with us, a welcome we'd love to have often.

We were guests at Christine's Airbnb for the second time. The Airbnb was cleaned daily, the beds freshly made. They put a lot of effort into making the guest have a pleasant time. The location of the Airbnb is super located to walk to restaurants or to shop for small things. We enjoyed the week very much and would book it again.

Ramesh and Do were perfect hosts. Exceptionally kind! The accommodation is very very clean, they have the desire to do a service so that we can have the best vacation possible. We thank them so much because they contributed to the success of our stay on the island. We hope to be able to come back to their place soon.

Staying at Sharvins was amazing. with views of the bay a standout. very relaxing with nice restaurants within a short distance. sharvin and family made us very welcome.

Great place to stay, 100% Recommendation. Everything is as described and in good condition. We stayed with Infants and they also liked it and had fun with the toys, sandbox and pool. Perfect spot to explore the West and Southwest. Sophie and Valérie are very helpful and friendly in Communication. You ll not regret to stay here. Best wishes.

The apartment was clean and fragrant, everything in order and equipped with all the necessities. Meera turned out to be exquisite and very hospitable. I recommend it to everyone.

We were informed by Pothano that the room was available from 9;am instead of the normal check in time. Though we didn’t use it as we were sightseeing etc on the way in. Ms Sheela explained the keys etc nicely. We had only booked for 2 days but wished we had stayed longer, the views were amazing from the balcony and I even saw a whale with his binoculars. Suddenly there were droves of boats looking for the whale. I didn’t see it again. There’s a fully functional kitchen etc. with Netflix TV. we ate up some of the house snacks and drinks so I left a generous tip with Mrs Sheela. We really enjoyed. Thanks Pothano! This little apartment is an absolute gem. So perfectly situated, close to everything and with the most breathtaking view. From sunrise to sunset, there was always something to look at outside of the kitchen window. It is extremely well priced considering its location. When staying in Black River, being on La Tourelle mountainside is just a must. Julie met us on Diane's behalf and was so helpful and informative. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Wonderful, clean, cosy and very practical in terms of location. Ample parking and great maid service was offered. Would stay again without any hesitation.

Lovely quiet, private apartment. Huge TV with sound bar, good and reliable internet. Super dark black out curtains in the bedroom. Very well equipped and clean kitchen with more glasses and cutlery than I have ever seen anywhere 😁. While I highly recommend it, please be aware that you need a car. Google says you can walk straight down the hill to the main road and beach, you can't as the roads and alleys are private and gated or have literally been built over. It takes a bit of doing to find a way through, especially to the beach, you will be walking a long way. On the plus side we hired a car for just AUD50 a day with no deposit and no excess to pay (from the nearest rental company). It was delivered to the apartment. Driving is easy, especially if you are from Australia or the UK as they drive on the left. Once you have a car the location is good for black river area, Casela and flic and flac.

Very comfortable stay at Allan's! Very nice, very large and well-equipped apartment with a pool! A parking space is included.

Laurent's airbnb listing is accurate and more. Laurent is excellent advice and did not hesitate to share all his contacts with us to best improve our trip. An address I highly recommend. The pool is refreshing, the studio is clean and equipped, very quiet location with the supermarket within walking distance as well as several restaurants. Really a little oasis.

We had a wonderful week in Tatiana's beautiful apartment. The view of the Indian ocean was spectacular. We practically had the pool and beach to ourselves when we were there as very few others around. Tatiana was very responsive, particularly when we had an issue with the hot water on day one. It was all fixed very quickly. I hope one day we can return as it was the perfect base for us to explore the area. Thank you!

I was really lucky to be able to stay in this cottage. The whole house is exactly as pictured. It is a very distinctive wooden cottage. The ceiling height feels like 5 meters. It is very large and spacious. All the amenities are very complete. We will go to the supermarket in the afternoon to buy groceries and cook at home.My favorite is the big balcony, it's so comfortable to watch the scenery while feeling the breeze. The host is very nice, always very responsive, and provided us with great convenience, really super nice!I would recommend staying here to every Chinese friend who comes here!🥰🥰 Thanks a lot

We had an absolutely wonderful 4-night stay at this property in Flic en Flac! The host(Tawhida) was fantastic — warm, welcoming, and personally came to meet us during check-in. She gave us a clear walkthrough of the house, which really helped us settle in quickly. The location is ideal, just a 10-minute walk to the beautiful Flic en Flac public beach. Perfect for morning strolls or catching the sunset! The property itself was spotless, well-maintained, and felt like home. We especially appreciated the dedicated covered parking space, which made things very convenient as we had a rental car. Check-out was also smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-located stay in Flic en Flac. 🌴🌊

We had a wonderful week with the family in La Gaulette. The apartment is spacious, very well furnished and tastefully decorated. It feels like home! The view from the terrace is simply amazing and allows you to enjoy magnificent sunsets! Comfortable bedding, regular cleaning, close to a hotel service, great class. 🤩 Communication with Stephanie was very easy, the information and recommendations provided were always useful. The location was great. Easy to walk to the beach and local shops and restaurants. The host was communicative and checked in to ensure we had no issue with check in. They were beyond hospitable. The space was clean and perfect for us. The rooftop pool was a great additional space to sit and relax. We enjoyed our time in this space and would definitely recommend!

Teddy is a fantastic, friendly person, always present but never intrusive towards guests. Our best accommodation among the others we've stayed in Mauritius. Very, very recommended!!!!!!!
