Weston’s place was exactly what we needed after a long expedition on Denali. We were a large group of climbers returning right after Memorial Day weekend — when everything in Talkeetna was completely booked — and Weston came through in a big way. He was incredibly helpful and flexible, even getting us in a day early on short notice. The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed to rest, regroup, and recover. It was the perfect spot for our team to decompress after the mountain. We’re so grateful for Weston’s hospitality and responsiveness — couldn’t have asked for a better host in a pinch. Highly recommended, especially for anyone coming off the mountain and needing a great place to land!

This is the third time I have stayed at this home. It has served my non-profit organization well as we transition from Kenai to Denali. The town of Talkeetna is always a favorite stop for my participants and staff. The home provides us a respite from the town activities at night and gives us a chance to enjoy what is offered.

Kelly And Rob were super helpful in communications. Their place had a different interior compared to present day ultra modern Airbnb’s we stayed at other places. We stayed here for 2 nights and had a sense as if we were the inside the woods in a safari 😌. The cupboard was full of games and we ended up at night having a game of Phase 10 for 2 hours . The place was just 10 minutes drive from town. Would love to come back again someday.

We rented this place on our way back from Denali NP in the summers. The place was really easy to find, and the check-in was a breeze. We arrived late and needed somw creamer for our drinks, since there were no shops nearby. Kale was generous enough to let us get it from her personal stash. Me and my sister loved this place!! I wish we could’ve stayed for longer but our itinerary had to be changed for coordination reasons. Our favorite was the relaxing sauna, which was perfect, and we took a nice bath/jacuzzi with the bath salts that was amazing. I had one of the best sleeps on this trip in the loft bed, which was SO COZY. all the thoughtful details, amenities, and decor were so perfect, I wish I could give this place 10/5 stars!

Sweet, rustic cabin with homey touches! It’s cozy and among the trees. It’s part of a cluster of cabins that would be great for a large group or family stay given a shared patio, grill, etc. There are four larger cabins that look like newer builds, and cabin 1 is spotless and has everything a small family or pair of friends traveling need. It’s walking distance to the brush airport to Denali, and many will find downtown Talkeetna within walking distance too — maybe a mile. Super responsive hosts. All in all, a great spot for an outdoorsy casual weekend. Thanks!
