Beautiful place. Perfect for me & two kids in 20s. Very connected to the surrounding nature, sounds of howler monkeys and birds . Clean and refreshing pool with waterfall. As beautiful as pix. Short walk (5-10 minutes) into town, beach and national park . The 2 smaller bedrooms could hear nearby partying late into the night ( but I didn’t) . Could have used more prior advice about pros and cons of getting there ( rental car, Caribe shuttle or plane to Limón ) but Kirsten was very responsive once we were there . Had a blissful time!

Unbeatable. Everything is clean, tidy and the kitchen is super well-equipped. Hosts are the purest life you can imagine. The cute dogs. The balance between the jungle and comfort are perfect. We'd like to stay and live in this house hahaha! We'll be back.

Wow!! What a spectacular and beautiful home and experience. Agatha was the loveliest host with a beautiful home that she designed herself. The love and care she put into every aspect of this home and experience is 5 star. The views are jaw dropping and the time in the the infinity pool was epic. The home was spotless and very comfortable with an exceptional design. I cannot recommend this home enough! I would say it is probably one of the top homes in the area. Stayed here for 8 days, and loved the house. Pre trip I was worried about the lack of AC but the fans they provide made it bearable. House was very clean when we arrived and they also offered a free cleaning halfway through which was perfect for us. We spent majority of our time on the comfy couches on the patio & in the pool. Saw many agotti, toucans, and butterflies from our place and loved the greenery. Would definitely recommend renting a vehicle if staying here, the road leading up is pretty steep and rocky. The howler monkeys and bugs can tend to get loud at times, I brought ear plugs because I'm a light sleeper and it helped a lot. The managing team was very responsive and answered all questions within 40 min or so even at night. Place is beautiful and definitely one of the better homes in the area.

We liked the house very much, the host helped me with all my questions from the day I contacted him and was attentive at all times! The rooms are well equipped, the bathrooms are spacious... I hope to be back!

Pedro and Sylvie were amazing hosts. They were super friendly and replied promptly. They even helped us carry in our groceries which was above and beyond!! The house was beautiful and well maintained. Great experience!!

Excellent place to stay in Playa Chiiquita. Quick, easy walk to the beach access, on a small dead end road, super clean, wonderfully comfortable, nice refreshing pool, beautiful garden, and very responsive host. Highly recommend except for perhaps by doing so it might be hard to get a reservation next time ;)

The place was exactly as advertised. Checking in was very easy and we didn't have any issues during our stay. Grill was a great option and we ended up having happy hour and cooking out several nights. Location is perfect. Far enough from 'downtown' puerto viejo to be quiet and peaceful, but close enough to bike in. We ended up renting a 4 seater ATV from a place that was only 10-15 minute walk away. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Puerto Viejo!

Without hesitation, I recommend Mathilde and his house. We spent 5 beautiful days in a super clean, tidy and fully equipped house. Privileged location, as you can easily reach, even on foot, to any place of interest: beach, supermarket, restaurants, etc. The pool is a magnificent plus, as that also allowed us to relax without having to leave the house. Well-maintained gardens create a natural environment where you can see forest animals. Beautiful, comfortable and practical furniture, chosen with great taste. And the best, human quality: Mathilde and its beautiful always attentive to advise us and solve any need we had. Thank you!

I cannot say enough good things about my husband and I’s stay at this beautiful bungalow! Zvezda was a wonderfully responsive host and prepared us well for check in, and the caretakers of the property welcomed us warmly. We were floored at the gorgeous surroundings when we arrived on the property. While lounging in the pool we were able to watch monkeys, macaws, butterflies, etc. The bungalow itself was also adorable and had everything we needed for our week long stay. If you’re looking for a private stay amidst nature in the Punta Uva/Puerto Viejo area, this is your spot!

We liked the coziness and privacy of the space. Although I will say there's a bar next door and they get really loud until 1-2 am in the morning. You can also hear the cars and motorcycles driving by but it's nothing too bad. Overall, it's alright for the price you are paying.

This was the most perfect stay be had in the Caribbean. I live in CR and had a friend visiting so we showed her the Caribbean side. This Airbnb is right next to a dive shop with tons of tours available. Restaurant with an amazing breakfast right down the road. Walking distance from one of the best beaches ever. Wildlife all around. We saw EVERYTHING! Sloths, monkeys, macaws and all. I will definitely be back. She kept a broom in the Airbnb which helped us sweep up sand during our stay. Ac was ice cold. Hot water was hot! Ice packs to use in the freezer. Ice trays. Delicious coffee. I could go on and on. She was also very responsive accommodating and kind. 100/10

Pablo's place was very nice and clean. It was quiet and a very short walking distance to the beach. Pablo was so friendly and helpful we would highly recommend staying here.

Our stay was amazing! I would definitely stay there again without a doubt. Canzio and Barbara were extremely accommodating and great people overall. Do not hesitate to stay here if you love nature and wildlife—monkeys will visit you—they are really cute and love bananas. The Airbnb is a 10/10. Thank you Canzio and Barbara we will see you again.

The location of the Airbnb is great if you want to be in a quiet place (there is little going on in Punta Uva). The apartment is located directly on the beach (across the street). There are few neighbors who are not always there, everything is Airbnbs. We found the apartment clean, spacious, it had everything we needed. The communication was great, the hosts are very courteous and nice, quick to respond. We would come again!

This place is ideal for those who want to be close to the beach, but not in the center of town. In a tiny gated group of 5 houses, surrounded on all sides by dense fauna, this place feels private. Of very new construction, it is comfortable and modern, with a beautiful pool and gorgeous landscaping. Your neighborhood iguanas and Toucans will wake you in the morning:). It isn't on the beach, but a very short walk to the beach. There is also a grocery store, a couple of small restaurants, and a very small resort all in walking distance. The host is responsive and happy to make (good) recommendations. We heartily recommend this place.
