Quiet, private rental with a view of the sea and bridge | Feel the warmth of a relative's home (sauna is a separate option)

ZhiyuRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The house was just several steps from the beach, and a gorgeous view of the bridge. Inside the house is a nicely furnished Japanese style home with all the amenities we needed, and the host was super nice and even offered us to buy drinks from convenience store in case we can’t drive.
A private sauna is presented with wooden walls and benches. A stone sauna heater stands prominently, reflecting the minimalist design. Large glass doors and windows allow for natural light to fill the space, enhancing the serene atmosphere. The area includes a water bath and a relaxing resting space.

The Airbnb is located in a peaceful town with absolutely stunning views of the hills, sea and rivers, and is a great getaway from the busy city life. The host was very responsive and welcoming, where she shared some snacks with us on our first day of arrival.

Traditional Japanese Guesthouse on Yuge Island

JeremyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a truly wonderful stay at this traditional Japanese house on Yuge Island. The home was absolutely beautiful—full of character, charm, and peaceful energy. It was the perfect blend of authenticity and comfort, with serene surroundings that made it easy to relax and unwind. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and we felt at home the moment we arrived. The house was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, and we especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere—it felt like a true escape from the busyness of everyday life. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and tranquil experience in a traditional setting. It was a memorable part of our trip, and we hope to return someday! It smelled really good too! Probably products from the owners organic store down the street.

Auberge Yugashira

KatharineRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Olivier and family are very welcoming and kind. We loved the homemade brioche, jams and local fruit for breakfast, along with the interesting conversation. The home is actually better than in the pictures and very comfortable. We spend one night there whilst exploring the islands by bike.
A serene outdoor seating area is depicted, featuring a small round table surrounded by two elegant chairs. A flowering tree with delicate pink blossoms enhances the scene, and reflections can be seen in the large window of the wooden structure nearby.

Thank you for your kindness. The room was also beautiful, and the hair dryer dried quickly with Dyson. There are no restaurants on the island, but I had a BBQ with ingredients I bought before getting on the ferry. You can also lend me a cutting board, knife, tongs, etc., and I think it's okay if you bring ingredients. Escape to the hustle and bustle of the city Got it.
A serene hallway is lined with large glass windows, inviting natural light to illuminate the wooden floors. Lush greenery is visible through the glass, creating a calming atmosphere. A cozy seating area is positioned nearby, enhancing the tranquil setting.
