Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Taillan-Médoc

Staying at Sophie & Bruno’s place was like staying with friends. The location was perfect for us, outside the city but easy access to the tram to get into Bordeaux or by car to the surrounding area. Three great double bedrooms with ensuite rooms, all air conditioned. We had a terrace to sit outside and eat breakfast. Sophie has an amazing address book for restaurants and we ate out very well each night (La Table de Decanteur (local resto with amazing wine), Zephirine, Ressources (both amazing restaurants, easy to reach by tram) and La Cor(o)niche by the Bassin d’Arcachon). There are plenty of local shops in Le Bouscat easily accessible on foot. We will definitely stay with Sophie again if we’re in Bordeaux, it’s nice to be out of the heat of the city. Sophie & Bruno are very welcoming and make you feel very much at home, nothing is too much trouble. I think my favourite Airbnb to date.

We were a group of 8 adults. The house was exactly as shown in the photos. We enjoyed the large living room and its backyard garden. The house is very close to public transport that took us to downtown Bordeaux and also close to different large supermarkets. Behind the house, you can access a forest area and small lakes that have a lot of charm. The host was very kind, answering our questions promptly, and his directions to the house were accurate. We would repeat the stay right now!!! Thank you for everything, Raphael.

Had a wonderful stay at this home. We had six people and there was plenty of room. The house is very clean and had great lighting-loved the windows. In a very peaceful area and felt very secure. My husband liked the walking trail. Views were awesome and close enough to Bordeaux to pop in to see the sights.

We had such a wonderful stay at Florian’s beautiful home!! The house is so peaceful with a lovely garden full of furniture for resting or eating. The house is very clean and well laid out with everything you could need. In terms of location, it is a 10-15 uber which was around €10-15 straight to the heart of the city, or you can catch a nearby train/ tram that’s a 10 minute walk. There is also 2 food shops within a 10 minute walk from the house and plenty of take away options should you wish to stay home. We did walk back from the town centre and it took around a hour and was a lovely easy flat walk. This house is perfect for those who like to leave the city and come back to a peaceful surroundings. We loved spending the days wine tasting and touring then coming back, sitting in the garden and playing board games. Thank you Florian for a lovely stay, I hope we can come back soon!

Nathalie & Hubert are so lovely couple. They are very kind and the accomodation was perfect for six people staying three days. I highly recommend all to stay here.

4-day stay in Gironde, we are delighted to have been able to enjoy the accommodation offered by Cyrielle and Mazahir. The place is very quiet and secure, the apartment is faithful to the photos, everything was clean and tastefully decorated. Access to Bordeaux and the highway to Arcachon/Dune du Pilat is very easy. Cyrielle and Mazahir were very available and recommended plenty of beautiful places and activities/restaurants. I recommend it without hesitating and thank you!

We would recommend it without hesitation. Very good hosting and accommodation as described. Clean, functional and quiet. Access to the studio, through this hotel is immediately quiet and exotic. I think that in the evening, there is the possibility of going to the large living rooms to relax, read The studio is very pleasant: spacious, bright, consistent with the photos, quiet, exotic (not the feeling of staying in a hotel). In a short time on foot (2 min), you can access the tram, then: in 15-20 min to Mérignac center, less than 30 min to Bordeaux center. With a vehicle, it is much faster. (20 minutes to Bordeaux, barely 8 minutes to Mérignac center). Closer, other amenities for shops. Great value for money, for any person or couple who would like to visit Bordeaux.

I came for a week of conference at the INRAE, and it was very easy to get to the train station or the INRAE with public transportation. The accommodation is located in a quiet area and is as described. Despite the heat wave, the accommodation remained relatively "cool", especially thanks to the presence of shutters. Gracious hostess. Apartment was spacious, well-lit and beautifully decorated. Bourg is peaceful but we found plenty to do. I enjoyed the municipal pool on hot days. Truly a home away from home.

We stayed 3 nights with our 2 children at Clément's. The apartment is very well located and easy to reach by car or public transport, 5 minutes from the Place de la Victoire trams, in a very nice micro-neighborhood with all the necessary shops on the street. It overlooks a quiet courtyard and has a balcony over a large green space. We did not meet Clément but he gave us all the directions to pick up the keys and was flexible with our check-in time. Nathaniel and Patrice have curated an exceptional guest experience. The apartment is beautifully decorated with antiques, lovely artwork and interesting objects. The location was perfect - close enough to walk everywhere but also very quiet. They thought of every amenity we could have asked for - and more. The coffee and tea station, the sweets, treats and fresh fruit were wonderful. Nathaniel was the most welcoming host we have met. He greeted us warmly even though we were delayed, he was responsive during our stay, and he met us for check out and helped with our bags. I hope to be back here again soon!
