Family-friendly vacation rentals in Tailem Bend

We had a fabulous week at Sarah’s house. With a group of 6 adults and 4 children under 5, we found the space and area perfect for everyone. The children especially loved the downstairs games! We will definitely be back.

This is a gorgeous property with a beautiful house. Amanda and Antony have done a superb job in decorating it and making it feel like home. The main lounge and bedroom is epic! So cosy and made for such a beautiful stay. The kitchen is really lovely, and very enjoyable to cook in. We had a great first night cooking pizzas and Amanda was very responsive to texts when I had questions about where things were. The spa was a great addition and we spent a few hrs in there on both days. For a wholesome getaway, I highly recommend staying here Thanks Amanda and Antony

Great accommodation in a beautiful historic town, town walkable. Excellent location for visiting hahndorf, mount barker, langhorne creek, goolwa and more. Host provided generous breakfast provisions for our stay.

We had a beautiful 2-night stay. The place was gorgeous and cosy. They gave us complimentary fresh eggs from their backyard chickens - they were delicious. Thank you for having us!

Lovely character cottage set in beautiful grounds. Our dog was settled here. Heather meeting us and showing us around on arrival, plus the provisions left, were nice touches. It was good to be able to walk our dog (on the lead) in the gardens. Enjoyed being close to the town centre and historic High Street. Graham’s local knowledge was very useful.

Loved this cottage - was homely, clean and pretty. We especially liked the space (well utilised for a couple or a family) and location. It has a nice energy to it and well positioned for easy walking to the Wharf and main street for food, drinks and shopping. Bed was comfy, the kitchen was light and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bonus bottle of red wine was appreciated, and we used the Simpsons arcade game upstairs. Would be great for a multi generational stay for kids and parents. Internet is a bit patchy in the area, but that's just something to take into consideration. There are a few tv's to use which are smart hubs, so you can stream movies if you need to. Would happily stay again, hopefully next time for a longer period of time. The local thai restaurant on the main street was delicious, and there are lots of pubs and cafes to cater for all tastes. Communication with hosts was friendly but not intrusive. Highly recommend this property.

James was very prompt with communication and our stay was everything we expected. Our family enjoyed many games of pool and with two living areas there was plenty of space for kids and adults.

One of the best air b n b we have stayed in. Andrew was wonderful with showing us around. All hosts were so responsive and recommendations were fantastic. This is by far the cleanest house we have stayed in. Will certainly stay again. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Cute little cottage close walking distance to the Main Street in town. Many amenities provided. Easy check in. Beds slightly uncomfortable but nothing terrible. Would stay again.

Was a perfect spot for a relaxing family weekend away. The house was well equipped with games and water equipment which the kids loved! Even caught a Brim! Inclusions and exclusions were well advised and our stay was extremely comfortable.

Peaceful spot for a bit of fishing with the family. Very quiet, had everything we needed.

Her home is in a beautiful part of the Adelaide Hills and is very quiet and restful. Accommodations were top of the mark. She provided everything I needed to have a great vacation.

My wife & I had another great stay at this peaceful river shack on the banks of the River Murray. Georgina & Jane prepared the house to be comfortable and welcoming. From the moment arrived, we could feel the stresses of the workaday world recede. The welcome kit, with assorted dips, choccies, and wine, does help! The house is well kitted out. You can arrive with just your personal basics and still have a lovely time. The River Murray, on your doorstep, is the big drawcard. You can relax on a deck chair and watch the river roll by as it changes mood from one time to the next – from misty early mornings to bird life during the day, and on to the moon’s reflection at night. You also can enjoy these views from the private jetty from the backyard. The river traffic of water-skiing and jet-skis picks up on weekends. If you are into active river sports, there’s a boat ramp at nearby Sunnyside Reserve. All in all, a lovely river shack in a beautiful location. Thanks to Georgina & Jane!

Thankyou Susan for allowing us to stay in the Elm tree suite. It was perfect for us. Being close to home while our floors were being re-laid. Susan always responded promptly to my messages. The suite was clean and tidy. Will highly recommend to others.

Our wedding party stayed at Three Hills the night before our wedding. The hosts were so responsive and helpful, with lots of thoughtful gifts and supplies for us throughout the house. Lynn and Stefan were super helpful when one of our group accidentally locked themselves out and got the house open for them in no time. The house was immaculate, with lots of natural light and space. It was perfect for getting wedding ready and the views offered great photo locations. it was an incredible space and we will definitely be returning for future visits.

OMG!! Do not bring a thing...literally. Gracious host Damir had everything prepared for us and plenty of beautiful breakfast provisions. And to top it off, we are just 2 minutes walk from the main street. What a great stay!

This is the perfect place to stay in Hahndorf. Central with easy access to everything. Perfect for dropping off all those items that just seemed to walk out of the shops with you! It was rustic as described but had everything needed for the perfect break in Hahndorf. We noticed how nice and warm it was as soon as we walked in. Off street parking was an asset. I love walking into a place that is as advertised. Thank you.
