Rosemary's Nest LLC

Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

Archer's Ridge was wonderful. The house was so nicely decorated and the beds could not have been comfier. Loved all the little touches and how easy it was to communicate with Stephanie. Can't wait to stay again soon!

Working Farm near outdoor attractions, sauna

The house was spotless, plenty of bedding. The goats were adorable and very sweet! They do like to escape just be sure to close the gate. Also, the signage is minimal so be on the look out, there was a small sign that said "eggs". I don't know why I thought there was a TV, however there were no TVs in the pictures posted online. LOL. They updated the furniture compared to what was on the website, the new furniture was an improvement. Also, take a screenshot of the check in information with the WIFI password and door key, because when we arrived no one had cell service and was unable to get into the airbnb app. One of us had to get in the car and drive until we had service to get the information and screenshot. It was a great place to disconnect!

The Bunkhouse- simple & serene w/mountain views

EmmaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a treasure! My mom and I got away for a couple days at Jenn’s place (a wellness sanctuary) and it was so peaceful and lovely, despite the rain we ran into! The place is tranquil both inside and out (a backyard meadow you can frolic in!), and the amenities are wonderful. Fresh bread, eggs, cream (dairy and non-dairy!), butter were all delicious, and I was so obsessed with the local teas and other goodies that I had to go visit the local apothecary that sold them. Jenn and her partner were super responsive to every need, bringing us eye masks and extra cream! Bonus - book a massage with Jenn. Seriously one of the best I’ve ever had. We had a wonderful time, thank you! Hope to be back!

We had a great stay at Julie’s place. The views of the rolling hills were incredible. My favorite part was a trip down to the river to explore and relax in the hammock.

Campo Cibola - Brisa

AlexandraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
From the moment I set foot on the property my heart skipped a beat. Everything about our stay was a perfect. The cabin was clean and cozy. All the practical things comfortable bed, cold ac, hot shower, well stocked kitchen, comfy couch, big windows for taking in the peaceful surroundings and watching the bison. Getting into town was an easy 15min drive if you wish. But I never wanted to leave. I could not have wished for a better view of the bison. I watched them come out into the pasture every morning, sun bathe, munch on grass, roll in the dirt, and retire up the hill each evening. This was the most amazingly relaxing couple of days and more than I could have dreamed. I cannot wait to return.
